If you love bold, authentic this restaurant is an absolute must-try! This dish bursts with perfectly balanced spices, offering a fiery kick that’s irresistibly delicious. Every bite is a celebration of authentic Nepali cuisine—spicy, tangy, and deeply satisfying. Whether you’re a chili lover or someone craving something adventurous, this dish will hit the spot. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience different and yummy flavor!
We tried the Newari thali, noodles, and Momos. It was amazing! The Newari thali is a cold meal and is spicy - SPICY. But, it's absolutely delicious and definitely worth a try. The Nepali style chowmein is sensational - it's got potatoes and black lentils but it is MIND BLOWING. Give this place a try if you want real Nepali flavors.nnThe wait staff are really sweet too. Overall - highly recommend!
Dropped by here with some friends last week for an authentic taste of Nepali food. As a Bengali, some of the food was very similar to the food you find from the Kalimpong and Darjeeling regions of West Bengal.nnThe thalis were delicious and you could tell they were made by excellent kitchen staff. Our server was also very helpful and kept suggesting items that she loved to eat from the menu herself, I love when a server can confidently point to items customers should try.nnMy friends said it was their first time eating good momos in Toronto! We got the chicken steamed momos and they were elite. The chicken gizzard and the goat curry were also incredible. Will definitely revisit.
We visited this place for dinner and ordered the Nanglo Platter, momo, sel-roti, and pork sekuwa.Pork sekuwa was so delicious, and sel-roti is one of the best I've ever had. It tastes just like the one in Nepal. It felt soo fresh and warm.nBesides that, the dishes were spicier, as Nepali food tends to be. However, we still found it to be spicy. Chicken curry and aalu ko aachar which comes with a platter and sel-roti looks so red and oily, full of spices. I believe they should offer medium-mild spice or at least provide options for the level of spiciness in the food, so that customers from various backgrounds, not just Nepali, can enjoy their mealsjust my opinion .The table next to us couldn't finish their meal because it was too spicy for them. Aside from that, it was a good experience overall, and the service was excellent. The server was kind and helpful. I would love to try some of the other dishes on the menu like chowmein and thali-set.
An incredible taste of Nepal right in downtown Toronto! The Nanglo set was an absolute feast, with rich, authentic flavors that reminded me of home. The sel roti was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, just like it should be. Amazing food, warm hospitality, and a cozy atmosphere make this a must-visit for anyone craving Himalayan cuisine!
