Very busy and bustling restaurant, in a great way! It’s very lively and a nice place to spend an evening. Their happy hour menu is a great way to be thrifty, but their whole menu is very inviting.nnI highly recommend the espresso mar-tiny. It is small but absolutely delicious. It was between that or the fries that were the highlight of the meal.nnThe fries were so incredibly crispy and fresh, plus fried in a dedicated gluten free fryer!nnOur waitress was very kind and helpful, service was very quick.
I visited Local recently and have developed a pretty clear opinion on the place.nnThe food was good, and I appreciated that they provided the sour cream I requested without any issues.nnThe service was friendly, but there’s room for improvement. I received some inaccurate information about the menu and drinks a few times, which could be better managed.nnThe atmosphere was great! I especially enjoyed the game table—it’s a nice touch that creates a fun and welcoming environment.nAlso, I absolutely loved the cider on tap—it was a highlight for me!
On our Monthly ritual of Zorro at his groomer, found ourselves at Local for lunch on a Sunday. Place was quite busy , still we got a table. Place is done well , high ceilings with an industrial look and a large patio . Our server was friendly with a big smile. Menu had a good selection, we ordered a spicy chicken quesadilla and a fried chicken ramen, both were underwhelming and surprisingly not as expected. We should probably have stuck to the pub inspired dishes !!nI will be definitely going back to try the pub fare and hopefully redo my review .
Had the local burger and the LPE greens salad. It was both pretty delicious and fresh.. I’m very picky with my burgers because it’s hard to find one with a good beef patty but this one is worth trying… it might satisfy you, as it did to me.. The Yam fries was good as well..nnHave to say, I was at this place first time, several years ago and didn’t remember having such an amazing service.. The girls were well-mannered and gracious.. They were so attentive and genuinely cared for our happiness at their work place.. No fake smiles or disinterest… They all seem happy to be there, happy with their work and happy to serve.. Of course, besides them being all really pretty..nnAnyways, would go back for the food and of course, for the outstanding service.nnThank you Local for the way you’ve been training your personnel.. The manager is doing a great job for sure.
A very enjoyable experience. Staff were very kind and friendly. Tim, the manager on duty was so personable and checked in on me assuring my experience was going well. I ordered the chicken satay bowl and it was exceptional. Nothing short of amazing. Presentation and quality were on point. If you are ever in the area, I recommended stopping in for a bite and or drink.
