If you ever bring a family or friend here, please advocate for them and believe them. While I have a lot of compassion for the work they provide, they seem severely short staffed and burned out. I understand this professionhealth care in general is incredibly demanding but the quality of you care you provide is a direct reflection of the hospital in the end. The system itself is broken which falls on the shoulders of the staff and team which I understand.nnI don't want to group some bad apples with everyone but it is super sad to see the state of the oncology floor in particular. Neglecting care is evil when people rely on you in their most vulnerable moments. I really hope staff gets trained in trauma informed care, emotional regulation and with better ways to cope with their stress. I am not saying all cancer patients are saints, I am not saying to abide to their every whim... but if you are willing to go into a profession of care, provide the humanity to assist them and put yourself in their position because cancer doesn't discriminate either.nnWith all that being said, I commend the ones that do go out of their way to provide excellent care and have a good bedside manner. Having some morals, patience and values goes a long way...don't come into a profession for the wrong reasons and get resentful towards the patients that never asked to be in this position to begin with.nnI hope you provide ressources to your staff/ medical professionals to better their care and have a better organization when it comes to scheduling appointments as it requires time, money and energy out of your patients. Also, keep an eye on your security team as they tend to harass families over parking for no reason besides a power trip.

This is specifically for the nuclear medicine G-S1 floor. Not giving patients any information at all about the test they will be going for is unacceptable. I have small children which I had a plan for during my test that should have been 1 hr. I was NOT told I would be radioactive and would not be able to take care of my kids, cook, or touch them. The prep, test, and after took over 3 hrs. Babysitting services I planned for was 1.5 hours. What am I supposed to do with 2 small kids I cannot take care of? Do better! Give info. Be clear!

We had my dad at the geriatrics unit. The staff were generally very competent, kind and supportive. The doctor that was assigned for my dad’s medical care was the complete opposite. It’s so unfortunate that there can be doctors that can be uncommunicative, with no display of compassion for patient and family, and simply quite rude. She never returned phone calls, didn’t show up at our family meeting despite the fact that she called the meeting and insisted on the day and time, sent her new resident two days on the ward to field some questions on one occasion. This is shameful

Horrible experience at this hospital! My vital surgery, scheduled two months in advance, was cancelled just one minute before the procedure due to a lack of sufficient nursing staff.nWe arrived at 10:00 AM and waited for four hours before being taken to the surgery room, then they took me to the surgery room and exactly 1 min before surgery they told “it’s cancel” , only to be told that the surgery was postponed for another 1.5 months. The stress and trauma I experienced were unbearable. The hospital shows a complete disregard for patients' lives, time, and schedules. Unacceptable!
