Possibly one of the worst hospitals I ever been to. Every staff in the emergency is impatient and aggressive. They all talk to patients with attitude and disrespect. I was waiting 4 hours in emergency and my boyfriend had an open wound on knee because of an accident after falling. The wound was where he had got shot and had a surgery only a few months back so his knee is still very sensitive and he could barely walk after the recent fall. We rushed to the hospital, although they did give him an ice pack they didn’t even clean the wound or seek him any attention. They expressed that they only have 1 doctor and we just have to wait. I find that ridiculous. How can you have patients in severe pain and agony waiting for 1 doctor. The information people told me there was 3 people ahead of us and they probably called out 30 names and we were the only people in emergency waiting room left, and yet they still did not call us. They have no customer service just a bunch of burnt out people with utter disrespect towards patients. No solution or help for crying patients. Read all the other reviews. This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Another women literally got so upset that they didn’t give her proper help she started yelling and stormed out the hospital and all they could do is laugh at her. I find it disgusting they’re behaviour . They don’t try to make a nice welcoming experience for you. For all they care you could wait here forever dying in pain. It was so bad we just left the hospital before they even called our name as I seen another review state that they waited 9 hours in emergency and from our experience we probably would’ve been here for the same. Never recommend this hospital. You will die before they service you.
Father presently there. I feel they don't listen to the elderly. They need to be heard. Food is disgusting. He's been there for a little over a week now and has had dried up pasta with a funny color about 6 times already. They don't seem to care if patients eat or not. All in all I feel the care of patients need improvement.
Waited over 18 months for a MRI. Then I finally received an appointment for a Sunday afternoon. Went to my appointment and waited an hour before I was informed that they were running late by approximately 4 hours!!! Needless to say the experience was terrible and the hospital itself was not very clean. Recommend going to another hospital if possible.
I had nothing but the best care and treatment when I was scheduled for surgery. *Everybody* was qualified, caring, professional. Surgery went beautifully well, they called the next day to see how I was, and the post-op appointment took place on time. This is a fine hospital. YES, ALL hospitals are short-staffed and staff is tired. But I saw nothing but professionalism and pride here, and a desire to heal and help. Excellent, excellent standards of diligence. I should add that several years ago, my father came in to the Jewish Gen. for a skin graft following skin cancer. The procedure takes a long time, and the staff came in and offered my mom and me some sandwiches, juice, and apples. I'd never seen such kindness at a hospital before. I am very grateful--thank you to all.
Dr. Alex M. Mlynarek is an outstanding physician with exemplary medical ethics and exceptional skills. His passion for his work is evident in everything he does, and his kindness and professionalism have left a lasting impression on both me and my daughter. By saving the nerve in my hand, he has truly given life back to both of us. We will always remember him for his dedication, care, and warm demeanor. I am truly grateful for the exceptional treatment and support he provided.”nn“I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Jewish Hospital for the excellent medical experiences I’ve had there. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and compassionate, making every visit comfortable and reassuring. The skilled physicians Dr. Micheal Tamilia and Dr. Carmela Pepe truly demonstrate their dedication to patient care. I am thankful for the support and expertise I received during my time at this hospital.”
