I would refrain from coming to this establishment filled with incompetent “doctors”. My son, now 3, suffers from a serious speech delay and fine motor skills delay from delayed treatment and lack of care from the neurologist, respirologist, and neurosurgery departments. Unless you want a neurologist to see a video not once but twice of your then 10 month old seizing and for that “neurologist” , Dr. Myriam SROUR, to say it is NORMAL, I would highly look elsewhere. Unless you want your child’s respirologist Dr. Aurore Cote to tell you: “ I don’t care for your sons epileptics attacks.”, I would highly not recommend. Unless you want doctors apologizing for your childs delayed care, including consequences, caused by their inabilities, I would strongly abstain. It took the nervous E.N.T doctor, Nguyen to comprehend my son was being neglected by hospital workers, by doctors with licenses. How is it that an E.N.T doctor tells me my son needs a Brain surgery before the neurosurgery department does? How is it that my sons brain surgery was performed only after completing his last test, un indicative of urgency but not after the one indicating it, his sleep lab results. My son suffered seizures while this hospital believed his mother was suffering from Munchausen by proxy or while his mother was advocating for an unspoken for 8 month old., 10 month old, 24 month old, 48 month old… Why is it that it took so long for a respirologist with supposed great experience to finally care for my son possibly having nocturnal seizures. Moreover, caring to implicate herself in helping me send a referral to have my son be treated for neurologically, correctly, respectfully, when she didn’t care for his epileptic attacks as stated by her before. These individuals withholding impressive knowledge, mostly coming from fortunate backgrounds, not having a clue of inclusion of people’s ethnicities. In other words not seeing a mother aged 23 years of age, of Middle Eastern background coming in to the ER after having her then 8 month old SEIZE yet AGAIN within 3 weeks of time as CRUCIAL INFORMATION but ASKING HER ORIGINS IS and sorry I forgot, HER EDUCATION LEVEL. A young mother seeing her 8 month old seizing in her very eyes for 5-7 minutes becoming purple, unresponsive is not real because she did not complete education considered to be of the norm or that required to be taken seriously as evidently someone with such egotistical knowledge. Instead of doing research, maybe care to assess your patients. Medical negligence is not what doctors implicate themselves in. Psychopaths implicate themselves in being so right about themselves and their tests that had no choice but to be normal since no seizures occurred during, then actually considering an 8 month old out of oxygen for 5-7 minutes shaking rolling his eyes as a seizure. I do recommend getting your child’s medical documents when unsure of level of care . My level of education permitted me in doing so, thanks to Dr. Myriam srour for the advice. Also thank you for making my sons life misery up to this very day because of your care for my son for not only medical negligence to occur but for my son to almost be taken away from me by DPG because they listened to doctors concerned about mothers behaviour and not that of the baby’s health.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff at this hospital for their outstanding care of our children. I brought my son in on Tuesday afternoon after a fall that left him in critical condition. The team of compassionate professionals swiftly took action, providing exceptional treatment and contributing significantly to his recovery. I couldn't have asked for better care, and everyone we encountered demonstrated exceptional commitment.nnI want to express a special thank you to the nurse who assisted me in the parking garage to get my son to triage. I remember that you weren't a staff member at the hospital and may have been there for personal reasons. Your assistance was invaluable, and I am truly grateful. We need more individuals like you in the world.
In general was a good experience, the personal very nice and communicative if you know what to ask. The problem is the system, that puts a lot of pressure on employeesto kick out the patients fast and the large number of them and patients that want a fast consultation and quick access to doctors. The rooms are nice with a private bathroom and shower, nice view over the city, all the stores and restaurants inside the hospital were very convenient.
So sad we waited 3 hours for our son 18months old with high fever in the waiting room then got called to our room where we waited another 3 hours and not once did a nurse or doctor come to the room.nnWe rang the nurse at room 5 triage twice during the 6 hours and not once did someone come.nnAbsolute disgrace that there is zero medical attention or staff.nnWhat a joke!
last Saturday i had to bring my son at night because he was bitten on the lips by his friend’s Dog. The service was great from the registration to triage, we barely waited 20min to see the doctor i assume because its an high priority, the resident doctor and the senior lady doctor were Amazing, professional very compassionate and friendly, took their time to make sure the stitches are done the best it can be, all while making sure my son is comfortable during the process. thank you to all the staff for your great service and dedication
