Hospital Lachine

For many years I have been going to Lachine hospital for blood tests because the staff were kind, friendly and painless. All new technicians now and I was made to bleed out and was given “attitude” when I asked to be cleaned up and have the blood soaked gauze replaced. I wonder if this is the new normal.

I was really impressed with the urgence service , all the staff are so nice and love their job .nnIt’s really refreshing seeing this you don’t get that good of a treatment with other hospitals.nI Would definitely recommend .nnThanks for everything and I had everything done in 3.5 hours which is really not long thanks again !!

Severely understaffed, very dirty and the run around with doctors and nurses which leads to frustration and inconsistency. Been here 4 days in emergency with my elderly mother, was told about chest xray, CT scan and echocardiogram, none of which have happened. I’ve asked SEVERAL times to speak to a doctor without success. This is why people get frustrated and angry. Not enough staff, testing is closed on the weekend and echocardiograms only happen Tuesday and Friday. I fear for the renovations and still no staff.

I have never had such a horrible, filthy and business stay at a hospital. I was barely treated like a human and yelled at by staff after THEY ripped mt IV out.nnClose this hospital.

I would give 5 stars but the overall cleanliness was not where it should be, even if it's an older hospital. However, I am very thankful for the sweetest doctor in the emergency ward who is taking care of my mother. I think her name is Dr. Alnajar, not sure... The staff works very hard, in difficult conditions, hats off to them!
