Hospital Hôtel Dieu

I've been waiting here 10 hours now. I'm the 2nd last person in the room out of probably 20 who came and left. And someone new JUST came in. And she was seen within 2 minutes...... This is the longest I've waited in any hospital in my life. Do. Not. Come. Here!!!!!!!! I'll NEVER set foot in this hospital again.

I am an English speaking patient, and I found that the help I received was phenomenal. Everyone was courteous and helpful and I was soon to immediately. Hoping to stay healthy, but a great big Thank You to everyone at the Hospital.

The doctor who was checking my symptoms and giving me prescriptions was professional. He knew exactly what I needed. However my experience was not 100% happy. First, the workers at the front desk spelled my name wrong on the blue profile card and they didn't want to give me a new one. Second, only a few workers in this hospital speak both English and French, the others speak French only. Third, I waited in the "emergency" waiting area for 8 hours until a doc finally showed up. That was some "golden" 1k dollar experience.

Best care ever! One week in ICU cardiology and every single person was genuinely kind, helpful, concerned, and highly attentive to any needs. Best team ever.
