The neurological unit is exceptional in it's services; there's a dedicated and highly trained team who are able to provide support and assistance for the patients. Tha nurses are highly compassionate; the meal were just too late to be served bur the food choices are great. The facility is fully equipped to handle stroke patients who are brought in the hospital and are technically competent to handle the demands of each patient's condition and their admission status.
My mother passed away recently in this hospital. She was 78 years old and had suffered a brain stroke. Although her heart condition had been managed with medication for many years, the stroke severely affected her heart. Unfortunately, the hospital lacked proper cardiology expertise, and she had to be transferred back and forth between two hospitals. The waiting times were long, and the care felt disorganized and inattentive. I believe the delays and lack of coordination contributed to her decline. Despite this, I want to extend my thanks to the Quebec Ministry of Health for their ongoing efforts and support in our medical system!!!
Excellent care. Patient is first. As for food, we unfortunately went to many hospitals and this is the worst one. If you go for an hospitalisation plan to bring snacks.
I am Parkinson patient since 26 years and now I am treated in McnGil neurology centrenI fond here top medical care very well handling of patient and precise follow up about everything belong patient.nThis institute needs your help so what ever we can we should give our support.
“Dr. Sirhan is an exceptional neurosurgeon, and we cannot thank him enough for the incredible care he provided to my father. After years of debilitating trigeminal pain, my father is now pain-free and back to his regular activities—a transformation we are so grateful for. A heartfelt thanks also goes to the entire team at the Montreal Neurological Institute for their outstanding support, professionalism, and compassion. You have all given our family a gift we will never forget.”
