They sent home my partner even though he was exhibiting no signs of improvement in his symptoms. We saw 4 doctors, reexplained the same issue to each one of them, even mentioning that he had the same condition previously and nowhere was that taken into account. One nurse came to take his blood and was upset and gave attitude to him because he dropped something on the floor by mistake. A racist Caucasian nurse working in the emergency room yesterday July 16, noticed her as of 12pm, blonde short hair tied in a ponytail, with tattoos on one arm. Kept giving attitude to every seemingly “immigrant” or non-white person but towards a Caucasian mother and daughter, nothing. My partner was in room 4 being treated alongside other patients. The doctor went to speak with him and since there are no visitors allowed in the room, I stood in the doorway to listen to their update. She gave me attitude, not looking at me in the eyes when she told me to stop obstructing the doorway, but when the Caucasian daughter was doing the same with her mother, no comments were made. Up until now, my partner is still exhibiting the same symptoms with no signs of improvement. They sent him home with 2 types of medication to alleviate his symptoms. No testing or further screening was done given his history. Every medical professional that we went through that day failed us.
Dr. Haydon and the staff at St Mary’s Hospital on the day Friday, June 13 for the operation of my torn ligament were a true dream team. If I were the richest man on earth, I could not have bought such an incredible team of people starting with Dr. Hayden, those incredible nurses and the whole staff of St Mary’s Hospital who made this procedure so comforting. I feel blessed to have fallen upon Dr. Haydon and that incredible staff at St Mary’s Hospital. I think each and every one of them from the bottom of my heart. It is helping me to heal fast and get on walking again without pain bless all of them.
I had the worst experience of my life in this hospital on Saturday and Monday in the emergency ward where I waited 10 hours to see a doctor but couldn’t after being 5 months pregnant they showed no humanity towards me specially one particularly nurse in the maternity ward on the fourth floor is the most inhuman person I have ever met a person like her should never be a nurse or doctor who are there just to timepass and not actually help patients .nI recommend no one should this hospital ever .
I went to give birth to my first baby on June 30 2021 , worst experience ever ! I wish if I can give 0 stars! I was totally alone during the whole time, my husband was on FaceTime with me the whole time, the doctor came with the nurse at the very end, doctor was horribly rude she pushed my leg saying left your leg I told her I can’t feel my legs I had an epidural she ignored me without looking at me she kept repeating left your leg and hit my leg until the nurse did left my leg then she looked at my husband on the camera and said is her husband in jail!!!!! And rolled her eyes!! Then when my husband asked her to be respectful she started a fight with him saying you should be greatfull we are delivering your child!!!! And all that while I was pushing my child out in an active labour!!! Then she shouted at me for being in pain!! Saying stop screaming and just push!!!! I had a second degree tearing so during the stitching process I was feeling everything and crying one of the nurses offered me some pain relief and I said yes please but the doctor told her no need we almost done!!! Completely ignoring my wishes and needs!!! She was not a doctor she was a monster she ruined my labour experience she caused me a lot of pain and anxiety and horrible memories!!!! I wish I can sue her personally for what she put me through. Shame on the hospital for having such a disrespectful doctors, she should not be a doctor at all she don’t have any sympathy nor compassion for her patients, not to mention that I couldn’t have my doula with me due to falls COVID test result from the hospital which my doula asked on the phone to repeat the test but they refused to until I gave birth and when they repeated it it turned out negative but of course was to late !!!!! So it was not enough that I had to go through labour alone because of them they sent me a horrible doctor as well.
A very good hospital. I was treated with patience and kindness when I had my baby. I had the most amazing team nurses and doctors help me through out the experience. After birth was no different too. My baby had to be monitored in the other babies room for some days, but with the care the all nurses displayed especially nurse Caroline Magwaza. I felt at ease. Most of the time I would notice her attending other babies even during the absence of the parents she was always kind. Attentive to every little detail and giving undivided attention to all the babies in her care.nI will always recommend this hospital to my friends. A good hospital
