Awful! I ordered a table top and it arrived damaged. They ordered me another one. When I went out to my truck and the warehouse person had run into my vehicle with a cart and smashed my license plate cover and bent my license plate. The manager Kathleen told me someone would take care of it. Its been over a month and nobody has contacted me. I still don't have the table top because all 4 times they have ordered me one they come damaged! Terrible service. I will NEVER shop at this store again!
Love Ikea. They don't have a lot of products in this store but they can send them from other stores if they dont have something you want for a fee.
It's like an adult Disney land. The veggie dogs from the snack shop were far better than they had any reason to be. Also reasonably priced home goods.

Never in my life have I had such a bad experience with such a company. On September 2 I purchased a dresser and nightstand that came to 326 including a 25 delivery fee. A week and a half after it had come to the St. Catherine’s facility September 19 I received an email stating I had not picked my order up on time and would be issued a refund shortly. I understood and called to see if I could come right away to grab my items but they denied me as it had already been processed and was being returned to Burlington and I’ll get my money back soon. I called a week later and they said that my money would be back into my account in 7-10 business days. A week and a half later I called back as the money was still not returned to me and they apologized, acknowledged that it was not right, and gave me a reference number and insured it would be back in 7-10 business days and also informed me that had not even STARTED the return process yet!! Although weeks prior they told me I could not come as my items were in the return process. Sure enough, the time came and of course nothing was returned to me. I am moving at the end of the month and don’t have a what I ordered, or b the money to go buy furniture elsewhere. I called last week frustrated and told the rep my situation. He apologized and stated the money would be in my account on October 16 the next day. After all of this hassle the only thing I would be compensated for was the delivery charge which would be 20$ although I was charged 25 dollars initially. Of course the money was not in my account by the date stated, so on October 17 I called my credit card company to get the money back since IKEA clearly won’t give it back to me. They advised I wait another day so I did. Now on October 20 I checked my bank account to see nothing was there as usual so I called my credit card company again because I have had enough and am furious. CIBC said I needed an email stating they were issuing me a refund including the amount I was owed. I reluctantly called them again, and was told they cannot send me an email saying they are giving me money back although he verbally told me I was getting the money back, I asked why that was an issue because I would like proof that I was going to refunded and was not given an answer. All that was told to me was “you’ll get your money back in 2 days”. Please please please do not try to order from this place unless you want your money stolen. They will lie to you to get you off of the phone and do nothing to get the issue resolved. As I stated before I am moving in 10 days with no furniture for my room or the money to go somewhere else for my furniture. It is truly disgusting that such a huge company has no sense of urgency or frankly give a damn about their customers whatsoever. They are now 326$ richer. You’re welcome.
Got a notice saying our vanity order was in. Went to pick it up and they only had box 1 and 3. We were told to come back after receiving another email saying box 2 was in. Called the customer service number and they mentioned the $20 delivery fee would be refunded upon picking up the last box. 2 weeks later I got the last box, but encountered mass confusion trying to get only box 2 of 3. The staff was friendly enough, just not good systems for tracking and putting orders together. I recommend you call the store ahead of time to confirm they have all your boxes, so you don't waste time making 40 minutes drives there and back and then again there and back, or better yet make the drive to Burlington and be sure your getting all the pieces and save $ on the "delivery".
They could have utilized the space they have more efficiently by adding more of the small quick grab items, that the main stores carry. It is only worth ordering large items. You are better off getting everything in one place by going to there main stores. At least i was able to get there bag of chocolates there. The umbrella's where at great deal at $2.50, but it listed on the receipt at $5 because we were not part of there loyalty program, which must be brand new because i was at there main hamilton location two weeks ago and there was no mention of this program.
Had a GREAT experience! Ordered a bed and multiple wardrobe system. Entered my order number when I entered and within 5 minutes the pallet was available. Very kind gentlemen assisted in loading our pick up truck and trailer. I will definitely use this service again especially for a large order. My husband commented it was the best 20 bucks spent in a long time. Would've cost us that in gas to go to Burlington and search the aisles for hours for all our stuff.
It would have been smarter to allow people to purchase items within the small location. I wanted to buy a three tier wheeled tray and had to specifically GO to Burlington to purchase it..was not worth the 20$ delivery fee. You would make more money if the show room was purchasable. :
If you haven't been then you must go. No words to describe this shopping experience. This is truly a unique store. This is only a pick up and pay location. Order on line or at their regular box store and pick up here. You'll love the stores, love the items, love the people it's Canada how can you not love the people: love the prices. Great fun, go!
