Poor Customer Service!nWednesday, August 20, 2025 14:47Hn-nI went to Home Depot today hoping i can find something similar or same Vinyl Flooring i have at home,,, i bring some small samples with me and took a picture of the box and the some code hopping i can find it at the display area without asking some help,,, the moment i have arrived at the homedepot i try my best to look by myself on what im hoping to find,,, after looking at every single one they have at display and i cant still find what im looking,, i decided to ask this Gentleman that works at Home Depot on that department if he can help me find the item that im looking for, i ask and show him the sample i have and some pictures but on my surprise he Replied to me with a rude manner he said, Well i don’t know! it can be this! or that! i dont know! try looking around that’s exactly he said without exaggeration and turn his back on me and walk away,,, after that i feel so offended for some reason especially knowing i ask him very polite and hoping he can help me,,, for the past 9 years i been buying things here this is the first time i encounter someone like him,,, what a shame it seems Home Depot Worker Standard changed,

We have always had a positive experience at Home Depot. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. We replaced 13 window blinds during my son's two-week vacation. Since it was our first attempt at replacing blinds, We received a lot of help from Home Depot, and We had no problems replacing 12 of the faux wood blinds. Following the advice of a Home Depot employee that it’s better to cut blinds that are a llittle bit big rather than small, We cut them accordingly, and fortunately, all were installed without needing to be recut. On August 11, We went back to Home Depot to recut the 13th blind, which was slightly too big, by 0.25 inches.nnUnfortunately, the employee that day was the most unfriendly and angriest person I had ever encountered, not just at Home Depot but anywhere. From the start, she was angry and complained that it was difficult to cut, refusing to even look at the paper where I had written the exact measurements and started yelling at us. It was terrifying. Unable to trust the cutting done by the employee named Ap..., we decided to check again with customer service and file a complaint. At this point, we discovered that while the blinds were cut to the desired size of 43.75 inches, one side of the cut was completely chipped. We requested the manager’s confirmation, but the manager made excuses, saying it was none of his concern. If such chipping is considered acceptable for cutting, then Home Depot should not offer cutting services, and the manager should undergo further training. However, Stephanie and Laura from customer service kindly handled the matter by confirming the size and the condition of the cut and deciding that the blinds should be refunded. We are grateful to both employees and believe that their professionalism is a great asset to Home Depot.nnOn that day, there were no other employees available to cut the blinds, and due to the unprofessionalism and lack of skill of the employee named Ap..., we visited Home Depot again the next morning. Since there had been an issue before, we confirmed the exact measurements multiple times and requested that it should be cut to 43.80 inches the previous day, when they were cut to 43.75 inches, we had to wait a long time while Ap... calculated it on a calculator. The employee kindly checked the size multiple times and made the cuts.nnHowever, when we installed it at home, it was too small. The blinds were cut exactly to 43 inches, not 43.80 inches. One side of the window was slightly visible, causing us great disappointment. I have no idea why this problem occurred. My trust in Home Depot has completely vanished. I no longer have the time or motivation to go back and exchange them after my vacation ends.nI request that you deliver the correctly cut blinds to my home and provide a response regarding this matter.nnHome Depot needs to provide more training for its employees and demonstrate a willingness to resolve issues caused by employee errors, as this is essential for the company's growth.nnThank you for reading this lengthy message.
I’m a contractor and spend a significant amount of money at Home Depot across different locations. Unfortunately, this particular store has been by far the most unprofessional and frustrating experience I’ve had.nnI attempted a price match twice — both times they came up with completely unreasonable and inconsistent excuses.n- The first time, they said they only price match with Amazon, and refused to even look at any other competitors.n- The second time, they claimed the price didn’t qualify because it was “too high” — even though the same product was clearly on sale elsewhere. I even called the store before visiting, and they confirmed there was no active promotion, which means the price match should have gone through. Yet again, they made up an excuse that made no logical sense.nnWhat’s worse, I could not find any official Home Depot policy that says price matches are limited only to Amazon. This leads me to believe that the management at this location is either misinformed or intentionally abusing their position to deny valid requests.nnOn top of that, today I returned several unused items — and they intentionally left out a few items from the refund. I double-checked everything, and the items were clearly handed over. I believe this was done deliberately, which is completely unacceptable.nnOverall, this location has shown a shocking lack of professionalism, transparency, and customer service. As a contractor, I can’t afford to waste time or money on games like this. From now on, I’ll be taking my business to Rona or any other supplier that actually respects its customers.nnI would not recommend this Home Depot to anyone — especially not to
