This hotel is more reminiscent of a 70's apartment building than a modern Hilton Garden Inn. The room lighting is dim and dingy. The mattresses are somewhat basic and not the most comfortable, the pillows are flimsy. The front desk staff is friendly and the breakfast is okay. It's not terrible, but I expected much better for what we paid.
So far our stay has been nice. Clean room...minor camper damage and some stains but carpet is old. Room has an odor maybe from last guest perfume I am not sure. But room is clean. Stopped by the restaurant on 2nd floor and they are open for breakfast 7 to 10. 7.99 continental...and basically 14.99 everything else. Parking is 18 a nite in and out. Its across the street and within walking distance...took a min to find it when we went around the block...building with flowers is in sight of the lot for raise of you like me that need a visual. Nice view of the lake from our room. Staff have been very friendly at all our questions. Hope this is a new place for us to stay! Ps elevators won't go up unless you have a room key nice safety feature!
I'm not sure how to change it but when you GPS this place, at least for me it takes you very around it!!nHowever hotel was great, students enjoyed the hotel, rooms were clean. We got there before check in for convention and the front desk was very helpful with our bags and changing as we had 20 min til a contest!
Stayed here for 3 nights as we were in town for a youth hockey tournament. The hotel was nicer than what I was expecting as I felt like the pictures online weren't great. The rooms were spacious and overall clean. You do have to request housekeeping which seems to be the norm now. I felt safe and room key needed to access all parts of hotel which I liked. I also felt that despite being right in the city, it was pretty quiet in our room. The only slight downside was that the front desk was not overly friendly and i spoke to a few different people and all very serious and not up to chat. Despite that, I would say book and have a great time!
Staff were good. Location was good. Rooms were nice. Most nearby parking lots seemed sketchy check reviews so I used a garage instead of taking the hotels recommendation.
