The hotel is situated in a great quiet location with some great attractions. A decommissioned naval ship, Buffalo sable rink and a children's museum.nnThe rooms are nice and the amenities are good.nnThe hotel is not family friendly and the staff do not like kids.
Overall, it was a great place to stay. Great views from the room over looking the harbor. There are several things around the hotel to do, but some of the breweries and wing places are a 20-minute walk. It was slightly annoying to have to take two elevators to get to the rooms. The biggest downfall, though, was the blackout curtains. Given that the rooms have floor to ceiling windows, the curtains didn't completely cover the sides. We had a few late nights, and it was extremely inconvenient to be woken up by the light when trying to sleep in.
This is one of our favorite hotels! The employees are very kind and helpful. It is fast service from the Valet parking to the front desk to check in. Gracie in the restaurant was very helpful in assisting me with menu ideas! I will definitely stay at this hotel again!!
Very nice property. All of the employees I encountered were friendly and helpful. Bar / restaurant area has a good vibe and lots of windows for outside views. Room was great too. Local street car train directly outside of the hotel.
Great location, delicious food, and wonderful staff that I interacted with. The room however, was filthy. Even my husband thought so, so I know it was bad. I asked to get it cleaned when I thought it was an accident, I specifically asked for a vacuuming, and nothing was done. There was dust, crumbs and finger prints on all the glass. I wouldn’t stay here again, for the eclipse it was $900/night, so I get that it’s a 3 star hotel, but I expected it to be clean at a minimum.
