Hampton Inn & Suites Detroit/Chesterfield Township

I can't stress enough how ridiculously thin the walls are in this hotel! I could hear every single word the people in the room next to me were saying, I will never stay here again for that simple fact. I'm quite sad that I have to leave this negative review, I'm not someone who complains very often, but it was so bad I felt compelled to write the review!

Rooms are spacious of you choose the suite. Shuttle to wedding event was no problem. Booked with points and got great service.

This hotel has the potential for greatness however, is sacrificing much at this time. My recent experience was a 3 night stay in a rm with a king size bed that was given away to someone else without my consent leaving me with 2 queen beds which I didn't want. There where no more king beds to offer, though I arrived for check-in at 5pm therefore I had to inquire about "perhaps you have king suite". They accommodated me but the next night circumstantially had to condemn the room due to electrical shortages. Again, accommodated from the 4th to the 3rd floor suite to a room riddled with odd noise. During checkout the concierge encouraged feedback, after explaining she looked at me with a response of no reason but asked "Would you like a copy of your bill?".

Beautiful facility. The place was clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Located convenient to I-94 and Hall Road. Of all the other facilities in the area, I think it's one of the nicest hotels.

Nice four floor hotel in between Hall Road and Gratiot on Marketplace Boulevard. Friendly staff clean hotel, and amenities are the usual. Best carpet design hands down hope they never change it
