Extended Stay America - Detroit - Sterling Heights

You can request pots, pans, flatware and basic cutlery. There was a full size fridge in the room. Wifi internet was included but to get video streaming capable internet you have to pay a fee. The staff were great and they have laundry on site. My biggest compliant were the pillows and the room was a little messy.

Never had a problem here. The staff is amazing and friendly, especially Chris. He goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay is pleasant with the hotel.

The lady in the front desck called Kalley or Kaleyan ,not sure about the spelling, was acting up, she treated us lije it’s a free hotel. Plus, you need to know if you stay less than 7 days, they will charge you for houskeeping if you ask for room cleaning !!! Will not stay here again.

Basic hotel. A few updates have been made but nothing special. Flooring appears new and I believe they pulled out an old bath tub to put in a stand alone shower. Front desk agent was great and pretty much the only high point. The bed is the main reason I'm rating so low. It is rock hard. I love a firm mattress but found this one terrible. I might as well have slept on the floor. We checked in at 10:30pm and out by 8:30am so we didn't use anything except the bed and bathroom and the bathroom was a disappointment as well. Around the base of the shower it looks like it was never caulked and now is a little mouldy. For around the same price I would 100% stay somewhere else unless you need the fridge/stove/microwave.

It was great I loved the smell in the hallways and I also liked the room I stayed in. Overall it was homey
