Staybridge Suites Detroit-Utica

Stayed here for two nights celebrating my birthday with my husband. Upon arrival everything was to our expectations and reviews. However, we were woke up for the second day of our stay by some very loud thumps. As the early afternoon continued, the noise got louder! All we heard was drilling torquing and thumping coming from directly outside of our room! We contacted hotel management with our concerns about the noise, and were told in a very condescending way “ Well it’s posted that we would be doing some maintenance between the hours of 8 to 5, and upon check-in the receptionist told you that there would be maintenance being done.” Neither of these statements were true. We seen no signs and we’re not informed of any maintenance. If that were so, we would have went somewhere else gladly. The whole point of staying here was to relax with peace and quiet. The only solution the manager had was that she could move us to a different room, but by then who wants to pack all of their things and move for another 1 1/2 hours of reconstruction. They claim to be a hotel that is strongly concerned with your comfortable stay. However, that is not the impression that we received. Will not be staying here again.

Really good place to stay. Very clean rooms with no signs of bed bugs or any other pests. I felt very safe and secure in the building. Complimentary breakfast and dinner. Don't bring your pet unless you want to piss away $75 because you will not get that money back. They took us in on short notice which was awesome. Beds are extremely comfortable. Staff is friendly wothout being overwhelming. Overall a wonderful experience!

Phoned hotel to check on room type etc and the service I received by Joseph was top notch. If the hotels serves during my stay with the same service I received from Joseph I will be very pleased! Thank you Joseph for going out of your way to make sure I am set up for a great stay!!

Amazing location, great staff, delicious breakfast & Wanda was so helpful & sweet. The front desk even printed off our boarding passes for our flights. We are a family of 4 & love the 2 bedroom suite that had 2 bathrooms & a kitchen. They also have an outdoor pool & hot tub for the warm months!

Rooms are clean. A bit rundown, but good value. Evening 'dinner' on weekdays is nice. Breakfast is reasonable. I like the in-suite kitchen. Fitness roon equipment is run down, stationary workout machine is broken. Not fixed for my stay 1 month later.
