Celebrated my birthday here with my wife and we had a great time! The food was pretty good. We didn’t love their take on the lobster roll with the corn on it. It definitely wasn’t bad, but wasn’t our favorite during our trip to main! We had a blast! The food was good! Our wait wasn’t too long. We would definitely come back!
We loved this place. Everything was fantastic! We did make reservations a few days before. We only waited a few minutes before we sat down. We had an amazing lobster dinner! We shared it and got a salad and it was a perfect dinner for two. Our waiter was awesome had a great personality. Food came out in a timely manner.
Excellent lunch today here. Our first time but will not be our last. Waitress was very personable and pleasant. Food was delicious. I had blueberry mojito and clam chowder. Hubby had lobster roll Everything was delicious. Love the little gecko in my drink!!!
Geddy's has a great ambience and a holiday vibe. Folks in Maine in general seemed so happy and pleasant. On top of that, staff here are welcoming and accommodating. We were a little late for dinner and it was almost closing time and they put their best efforts in letting us in. It was fun and we enjoyed the food there. Surprisingly, veggie salads and tacos also turned out to be great!!
Had a late afternoon lunch. Was sat right away by window table. Perfect view. Our waiter, Colby, was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Food came out fresh & hot!! All our food had good flavor. Would definitely stop here again!
Atmosphere was ocean eclectic, with tons of signs. Variety of food was good and reasonably priced. Quick service even though it was busy. All the staff was working constantly, serving, cleaning, etc. Highly recommend. Tables are closer than normal.
Definitely make reservations because Geddy's was the most popular restaurant on a Thursday night even at 8 pm. It was sitting and standing room until 8:40 pm but we were escorted to a table because we had a reservation. Excellent blueberry pie, more blueberries, better than at Stadium's and my husband had that the day before. Cider was really good along with an assortment of local beers at reasonable prices $8 for a draft. We shared the Tuna Ahi Poke entree as an appetizer. It was good although the rice was a bit firm from it having been refrigerated. The Margarita pizza was big enough for two. It was fine, but could have used a little more sauce for flavor. I appreciated our waitress offering us a few samples of the beer, so we could narrow down our drink selection. I really liked the cider, and my husband enjoyed his beer. In spite of every table taken, our food came out in a very reasonable time and our server was right on time when we were ready to try the blueness pie. It was really packed at the bar and tables and the tables were close together because it is a small place. There was no outside seating. When you see the neon moose above the bar, you know you are there. Cute bathroom signs for men's outboards and women's inboards. The signs and decor inside gave the restaurant a fun, casual, Bar Harbor feel. Out of all the dinners we had, Geddy's was the best priced and gave good value for the money.
Food was excellent; the clam chowder was one of the best we had on the island. Our server Mark is a phenomenal human being. The seafood bake and the mini lobster bake were totally worth it. Kids meals were simple, but came with a nice surprise they were served on frisbees, which the kids got to keep!
Highly Recommend! Great atmosphere, great service, great food! Save room for the blueberry pie, you will thank me later. The whoopie pie sundae is also amazing, but be prepared for a sugar coma. For drinks we had regular and also jalapeno margaritas. Appetizers included scallops, clam chowder, and crispy brussel sprouts. All were wonderful. Main dishes included the fried haddock and seafood pie. Everything was cooked perfect and extremely tasty!
Had a long conversation with Heather, the owner, in the shop underneath the restaurant. She was extremely welcoming and expressed true interest in talking to my girlfriend and I. Afterwards we went upstairs, the restaurant was exactly how she described it. Probably the best atmosphere for all ages in Bar Harbor. The cocktails were great along with the tuna tacos. Watch out for the lizards in the drinks! Will definitely be going back.
