A unique bar and restaurant with affordable lobster rolls that are just as fresh as anywhere else around. I really enjoyed their spacious back patio with a gazebo bar attached. A very Maine setting and great place for lunch. They also serve food later than most other places in Bar Harbor until 11pm. We had the lobster roll for lunch with a perfectly made Bloody Mary, fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but still good. Definitely a must visit while you’re in town. A lot of the locals come here too.
After 9pm, only 21 and older can enter to sit down and have food. Super friendly staff and the food came out quickly. The Dog & Pony Tavern is a nice place to stop in if you need a late night dinner option at a good price. Lobster Mac & Cheese is overpriced but delicious!
Drinks were amazing! Food was great. They were playing some good music as well. Our waitress, Lynn, was so kind to us and always made sure we were good with our drinks and food. We are very pleased with our lunch here, would definitely recommend. Thank you Dog & Pony
A hidden gem! This bar restaurant is so cool. Set back from Main Street, there’s a bar in the trees, like the tree house you had as a kid but there’s a bar in it! Plenty of room, paid parking right here. Good menu with pub food. Outside seating, inside seating and a large deck.
Dog and Pony Tavern is our go to place for great food. We love to see our favorite football team play on Sunday too. Friendly staff and very clean. Judy served us with the best wings and haddock sandwich. She was great. We come back every year to our favorite tavern!!!
Killer food and service plus the BEST variety of rock music! Where else can one hear Ugly Kid Joe, The Cult, Collective Soul, J Geils and 38 Special in one sitting? Start with the Mozzarella Half Moons. Delicious!
Judy was our waitress and she's fantastic. The food was out of this world. The perfect combination of super service and Tavern food.
Clean inside and out. Great atmosphere. Our waitress was great, fast service.Food was hot and delicious. I had fish and chips and my son had pulled pork sandwich. Awesome food. Did i mention the food and service was great. Time from ordering to food on the table was around 10 minutes.
Found the Dog & Pony Tavern after hiking in Acadia and had a great experience. Sit outside and ask for Judy. She provided great insight on drinks and was also good company.
