Dx Medical Centres Plaza 167

I was referred to this clinic from the south location for a minor procedure. Without traffic, I live 30 minutes away so I gave myself 45 minutes to get there.nnWhile driving, they called me to reschedule my appointment to later that day. I didn't answer because I was already driving to the clinic and had my phone set to do not disturb.nnI arrive to the clinic and learned my appointment was moved to a time I did not agree to and did not work for me.nnI couldn't spend over 2 hours of my day driving. I couldn't take the new appointment time because it was cutting it close to school pick up. I needed that morning appointment because it's what works best for my schedule.nnI get that things happen, and I want to extend grace because doctors are humans too and human things happen to them. It's just that the procedure I was referred for requires even more trust then what is typically needed, and my trust was lost with this unfortunate situation.

After I check in They make me wait 30-50 mins every time , then they make me wait 30-50 mins inside the doctor’s office . Who has this kind of time to waste? Insane

The last two times I’ve seen the Dr. he’s had a resident in training along with him.nWhile I completely understand that new Dr.’s are needed everywhere and that these residents in training need instruction on what they need to do when, for example, ordering blood work for a patient, what ticks me off is my Dr. spent 99% of MY appointment instructing the resident in training and I received the remaining 1% but only because I interjected until I was able to voice the concerns I had that brought me there in the first place!nI guess that the Dr. forgot that the patient made the appointment to see him to receive some help and not to sit in the background while he discusses and quizzes the resident in training about what needs to be done.nGeez I could have walked out of the Dr.’s office and I think he wouldn’t have even looked up from his laptop.nThe next time he asks if I mind the resident in training sitting in on my appointment I will in no uncertain terms say a resounding ‘Yes I mind!’nFrom my understanding Dr.’s have an expectation of their patients and that’s to be respectful to their physicians, follow guidelines that their Dr. has set out for them in their care plan, such as taking meds etc. as has been instructed.nWhat I’m wondering is shouldn’t the patient be given the same consideration in that the physician be respectful of their patient?nThen perhaps when the patient has taken the time out of their day to both make and keep an appointment then it falls upon the Dr. to NOT treat the patient like a fixture and basically ignore them while they train the resident in training.nAnd the most important thing is for the Dr. to listen to the patient and their concerns and not be dismissive just because they the Dr. has a degree.nHaving a degree or several of them doesn’t mean that the Dr. is always right and I, personally, have found that out the hard way.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Not a single person at the front to greet you. Just a random person standing in the back playing on their phone and when I politely asked if they work there she rudely responded that she's the patient. I'm not surprised this place has terrible reviews.

My girlfriend has been trying to get a refill and the pharmacy called and faxed. The receptionist Jenean simply doesn't care and is totally rude and unprofessional. The office manager and doctors don't care as well terrible place
