Discount Car & Truck Rentals

Made a van reservation on a Thursday night for the following Monday.  I received a phone call from one of the employees advising he accidentally cancelled my reservation but put it through again.  He assured me that he corrected the error and a van would be ready and waiting for Monday morning at 8:30.  Monday morning I took a cab to the office and when I got there there was no vehicle for me. I was then driven by another employee to a different location where I had to give them all the information I had already provided while making the reservation. I then had to sit and wait while the van was cleaned and washed. I finally got out of there but was delayed by over an hour. Later when I returned the van I had to wait again while 3 employees scrambled to find my information. I will not be renting from Discount again and I will most certainly never recommend them. Both locations were completely unorganized.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ZERO PROFESSIONALISM. On top of having to switch vehicles 3 times in 1 week. These crooks charged my credit card over 600 dollars WITHOUT FIRST SPEAKING WITH ME. They also put me in a vehicle that had not been serviced in 30,000 km that was not even cleaned. This unserviced vehicle that could have put my life at risk also had a low tire pressure indicator when I left the lot, which I was told not to worry about. Carson even put a note (which he said hes not allowed to do that the car was not able to be checked properly) 1 day later the tire was completely flat without driving on it. I was then told the car had just been returned 1 week earlier for the back tire going flat as well. Following this Discount told me I WAS RESPONSIBLE for the tire and would be charged for the replacement. I asked to speak with a manager and was never contacted for 1 month. Checked my credit card today and ends up they charged me without ever talking to me. ABSOLUTE CROOKS - terrible timeliness (no one ever picks up the phone) and no respect for customers. They also charged me for extra days that my insurance had extended without speaking with my insurance. Disappointed beyond belief with their professionalism. NEVER EVER TRUST THIS LOCATION EVER, YOUR LIFE AND MONEY IS AT RISK!!!

I was very upset that I had to wash the vehicle after I picked it up. The interior was salty and had crumbs on the floor and in between the seats. The vehicle was defiantly not cleaned. The interior also had a very strong odour which driving on the highway with Windows down did not get rid of. I feel that because I got a vehicle through insurance that there was no need to make me feel comfortable in it. I have had friends rent through this company before and I believe they dealt with Lucile who made sure each vehicle went out clean.
