I came in with my bridesmaids to find shoes to go with our dresses. Priscilla took care of us and she was attentive, considerate and extremely kind. She listened to each of us and carefully took the time to find the right shoe based on what we were looking for. I found a beautiful pair of shoes that were comfortable and stylish. I cannot wait to wear them on my big day. Priscilla made the experience easy and stress free. I recommend coming to David’s bridal not only for beautiful dresses, but to accessorize them as well!! I had such an amazing experience today at my stylist appointment with Alison! Alison was so friendly and helpful, and made me feel beautiful and so comfortable, even though the store was busy. Making an appointment with a stylist is definitely worth it, and so easy to do online. Whether you come in with a style in mind or need help picking something out, they have so many beautiful dresses to choose from, with very fair prices. I found the perfect bridesmaid dress and even ended up leaving with an extra, gorgeous floral gown, with pockets! You know, for all those other weddings this season
Unfortunately, I had a bad experience at David's bridal. I'm sure if I had a different consultant, it might of been a better experience. My consultant was Jean, and she literally was so rude to me. It was my first wedding dress shopping experience, and she made me feel so uncomfortable. At the very beginning, she knew that it was my first time and that I may just be here to try on dresses. If I found the one, then great, but really I wanted to try on dresses to see which style I liked. It was only until I tried on a few dresses she started to make me feel uncomfortable by telling me that she was commission based and if I was only here to try on dresses, then she rather be with a different bride...not only that, she kept rushing me and didn't help clip the dress on me. My friends were literally holding and tightening the dress for me just so I can get a better feel of the dress. I was so shocked that Jean was just standing by the computer doing nothing, and we all noticed she had all the clips on her jacket... ALSO, I had a dress in my fitting room that I liked, and another consultant came right into my fitting room to grab it for her bride....it was honestly so chaotic and squishy that I don't think I would come back. I went to other bridal boutiques and they had exceptional service. I definitely don't think I would recommend David's bridal to my friends.
Best place for bridesmaid dress shopping! My stylist, Nadine, was so helpful and patient with me as I tried on twenty different dresses. After we found the perfect dress, Neil and Che did their magic to help me get the exact colour and size shipped as soon as possible - for the most reasonable price I've seen across the GTA. The staff, in general, were all very kind and it felt like an inclusive and safe space. There were hundreds of beautiful dresses and I watched more than five girls around me seal the deal on their prom and wedding dresses. A very positive experience and I will definitely return for my next wedding event!
Customer service varies time to time. The shop is usually very busy and the employee assisting you is also helping other customers so be prepared to not get their 100% attention especially if your just prom/grad dress shopping or looking for bridesmaids dresses. I did get a little more attention while attending an appointment for my wedding dress compared to when we came for our appointment for bridesmaid dresses. I find their prices to be pretty fair. However when you find your dress you do get a special “say yes to the dress moment” which was sweet. When I came for my alteration appointment I found the seamstress to be very pushy. She kept pushing me to do more alterations despite my wedding being nearly a year away and me telling her I was not ready to do more. Overall a mediocre experience for me any time I’ve gone. I have bought my prom dress, wedding gown and my bridesmaid dresses here.
My group of bridesmaids and I went to David's Bridal Scarborough to see if we could find bridesmaids dresses for my September 2023 wedding. When I arrived, I was promptly greeted at the front, even though it was a Saturday and was extremely busy. I was early for my appointment so I was able to browse around before I was assigned my stylist, Diane. Diane was absolutely fabulous - she was very attentive, listened to my requests and was quick and resourceful. She helped all of my bridesmaids feel comfortable and beautiful in the dresses they were trying on. Even though the store was packed with other brides and bridesmaids, I never felt that we were competing for her attention. In addition, the store manager was also very attentive and helped me and my bridesmaids with our appointment. Overall, was very pleased with my experience and we ended up buying our dresses from there! Thank you to the David's Bridal Scarborough team!
Took my bridesmaids here today and we had an incredible experience with Nadine! She gave us our space to browse and choose the styles we were interested in. She was incredibly patient with us as we kept on changing our minds, gave great advice and kept pulling up different dress styles and sizes as we needed it. To be honest I wasn’t expecting such amazing service, dedication and attention! Definitely would recommend this place! When we cashed out Linda was also amazing she took a lot of time to also confirm our orders and explain the process of them coming in and alterations! Also very patient with us! Thank you to this amazing team for their hard work and dedication!
Had my bridal appointment with stylist Diana. She was very attentive, patient and helpful the entire time. Not pushy but also has great taste, I found my favorite dress with her. I had a great experience.
Marcia and Jean were phenomenal. They were patient, kind, and super helpful. With their guidance I was able to choose my bridal gown and my mom was able to also get her dress. Jean suggested amazing styles for the bridal gown and went above and beyond to find THE dress. Marcia connected with us from the get go and made finding my mom’s dress seem so effortless and fun. I’m forever grateful for both their helps. Looking forward to coming back for alterations with Ranee for final touches and fitting.
I shopped at a couple bridal shops and was told about David's Bridal. I am beyond thrilled that I had made an appointment to come in. They were so welcoming and had a great selection of dresses. Christine was phenomenal!!! She assisted with a few different styles and her knowledge and input was so professional and informative. Her opinions were so honest in helping with the perfect wedding dress. Christine also put together a beautiful selection of shoes and accessories so it was a one stop shop to make your special day absolutely perfect. David's Bridal definitely will not disappoint and I highly recommend this location.
