GREAT stay. Very friendly front desk clerk who greeted us warmly and provided a Falls upgrade without asking. The room was clean, well appointed, large TV and great view of the falls. Very quiet, we had a good sleep. Very handy to the Hard Rock, Casino and the Sheraton. Covered parking was secure too. We’ll be back this coming summer and will definitely stay here again.

Hotel has an excellent location. Rooms are spacious. There is facility to make tea and coffee in the room. The breakfasts are fantastic and servers good. The view from the restaurant is amazing. I found the lobby and passages dark and decor tired, but that may be personal taste. The pool and gym area are awful. The hotel would do better to close them to guests, unless there are plans to significantly improve both areas.

Stayed here for one night during a work function. The bed was definitely the highlight of my stay, it was so comfortable and made for a great night sleep, I was actually excited to go to bed and ended up staying in bed longer than I usually do the next morning.  The staff were extremely friendly and the location can't be beat, just great for enjoying the falls and surrounding amenities. The view from my room was good.  I wish there was a water refill dispenser, the parking at $35/day I was glad I could expense, I also wished there was a fridge in the room to keep some drinks or snacks, and my curtains were a little stiff to work.... But overall these are just small points and I still had a delightful stay. I may have to call to ask them what beds they have, I could use it in my bedroom!

We were given a top floor room with a view of the Falls and reminder of the 10pm fireworks. Great start. Our bill was higher than expected due to the parking fee, resort fee, and taxes. I hope once I review with the exchange rate it is tolerable. The room was only slightly larger than the king bed but okay, the bed and bedding was very comfortable.  Other issues was discounted buffet, not free, other complementary items were difficult to cash in.  Nice hotel.

Location and staff were great. However, the room with one standard Queen bed and washroom were tiny. Overall, the hotel speaks of past glory, but I think it’s time to upgrade the rooms and amenities to keep up with changing times. The rooms require a microwave and a mini- refrigerator and the washrooms also require an upgrade. Overall, good for the price, but there’s tons of room for improvement. Good luck!

The room was  small for the price you pay and there were fruit flies everywhere. The washrooms were also small not cleaned properly and the room had a musty smell, especially the closet. Every time we opened the closet it smelled like pee. Although it's in a very convenient location from the room you could hardly see the falls. The washrooms had no ventilation.  I am sorry to say but it was nowhere near a 4 star hotel.  There was no way to lower the heat in the room and it was very uncomfortable.  We enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the 10th floor at the prime steak house. Very nice .  Rooms: Small and smelly. Heat or airconditioning cannot be controlled.  Nearby activities: Lots of things to do at walking distance.  Safety: Safe  Walkability: Close to Clifton Hill where there is all the fun and games and dining.  Food & drinks: Awesome places to eat.

I will try to not ramble on and give just the facts that i experienced. I am a veteran with physical difficulties who was just trying to seek a day of R+R after the passing of my fathers battle with cancer. Everyone should be treated the same but I thought it should be stated for any unintentional bias.  In regards to most of the complaints about this hotel they are sadly still accurate and I will probably receive a response of “ty for the review we will share this with management “ like everyone else complaining about the same things not corrected.  Rooms are not sound insulated well or not at all. Heard my wife talking more than 6 doors down Took over a hour and changing our room 3 separate times before we were actually able to settle in. Apparently per the hotel “any reservations made through a 3rd party agent is supposed to be the cheapest/smallest room they have as default regardless if you requested a king at the accredited site. No help was given or more importantly offered to help with our luggage to move out of the rooms to the next room assigned. Instead of offering just a higher quality room as a easy compensation solution, I to was offered that they would push two single beds together to “count as my king bed “ what a joke.  Parking is not compensated and more $$ than public parking just down the street if you are able to walk for 5 min.  No mini fridge in my room … so all that delicious fudge or craft beer sold in the area should not be bought until you leave. No vents in the bathroom of my room.  The indoor pool is only open on weekends  Positives Room was clean/smoke free Good water pressure/heat  Conclusion: I just wanted a place to grieve with no stress and this hotel did not do their role for that. I have stayed at other hotels for similar $ in the same area with a much better overall experience.oaks. Save the $ and headaches … go to holiday inn or something.

we booked the couple experience at the crown plaza price, which ranged at 330$ for 2 wine tour, 25$ casino vouchers, and a few more 20$ coupons. so it was a great deal. everything went well until we checked into our room 427. as soon as u open the door, the chlorine smell hits u in ur face and does not go away. the ac ventilation doesn't even work. everything was just a nightmare. front desk would not move us to another room, due to the whole hotel was booked. which, I think it was a lie. the cleaning staff were more helpful den any one in this hotel. front desk offered us fans to help the smell to go away. it was all  unprofessional for a high end hotel. the fan made it worse until I couldn't take it anymore more. all the hotels around the crown were fully book3d or they were asking 600 dollars a Night.  after numerous complaints to front desk, the only thing they did for us was to waive parking and take away 100$ from our initial total. I would never ever go back to the crown plaza.  a really horrible experience.

Various feelings about this hotel, it's very difficult to navigate if you ask me. It can be a little overwhelming. The water park is accessible from the exterior garage elevator. The parking levels are a little weird to figure out also, but once you get it down you're pretty good. The travel from the garage to you room is very long! I stayed on the 11 floor my room didn't have ac for some reason, but thank god it was fall. The hot water takes for ever to get to your room lol. The rooms are beautiful! Clean, service is amazing and friendly.

Stayed here as part of a conference and it was a nice hotel. The staff were friendly and the rooms were nice, although our bathroom had a shower that didn’t have great pressure. Also the conference rooms did not have access to the other meeting rooms so we had to go to the main floor, walk across a hallway and up three flights of stairs to get to those which after doing it five times was a big inconvenience but not the worst thing in the world. Definitely would recommend for a nice, well priced hotel near the falls.
