The view from our room was pretty spectacular. The room was clean but the bathroom was so small, it took some maneuvering to close the bathroom door. We were offered an upgrade when we checked in but we didn't think it was worth it at the time. We were a bit annoyed when we went for breakfast the next morning and they charged us double the amount we were told when checking-in. Apparently, you have to purchase the breakfast a day in advance to get the cheaper rate. It would've been nice if they'd made that clear at check-in. Overall however, we really enjoyed our stay and will return sometime

It’s not worth the aggravation as you calculate getting your money’s worth vs the dump you just paid for, Welcome to hotel California.nSure you can see the falls just stick your head out the window and look a mile down the road to behold the beauty of it all. Don’t forget to turn on the shower 1/2 an hour before you take that low pressure lukewarm shower.nDid I mention Bedbugs? Please allow me to warn you. We really enjoyed the buffet at the Skylon.nThe Maid of the Mist was awesome.nOn our way home we ate at tide and vine, Yummy seafood chowder.

The location was perfect for Niagara Falls. The room was a bit cramped. The A/C did not work properly, but since I did not report it, I cannot really complain. There was also a very strange slope in the floor right below the window. The hot water took a very long time to get fully hot. The service was outstanding. We could not find the hair dryer and a new one was delivered about 10 minutes later, about two minutes after I found the one in our bathrooms .

While the rooms are outdated, they make up for it in cleanliness and service. Check in was a breeze + we were able to check in early. The staff at reception were 10/10 never feeling rushed and answering all of my questions. She even gave my son a treat for his birthday.  There are no fridges in the room but we brought a small cooler and the ice machine was easy to find with the help from the friendly house keeping staff.nnThe room was clean and a great location with a decent view of the falls. Parking was easy on-site and we even got late check out to enjoy the pool and other amenities. We will happily return in the future.

I was disappointed that my falls view room did not disclose that the view directly outside the window was a concrete building. You need to stand at the window and turn your head 90 degrees to catch a view of the falls amongst trees. I would also say this hotel that does not provide a safe in a room which means you cannot lock away any valuables.nIt is also outdated in the bathroom area- no exhaust fans, and only provides sample size bottles of shampoo/conditioner and small soap wrapped in paper that dries out your skin as soon as you use it, most hotels  these days provide large bottles of body wash. Overall the room is clean and tidy with a comfortable bed in decent location.
