Beautiful and clean room. Had a king suite for a spur of the moment trip on a long weekend. The front desk was very efficient and friendly.nnThere were no anti slip bath mats in the tub and my son slipped in the shower hitting his ribs on the side when he landed. I asked for one at the front desk. They don't have any. The gentleman who came from housekeeping or porter was amazing. He looked for one for me and then said he would let the front desk know that they need to order them. It was also a worry for me. The customer service really is incredible here! I appreciate how much they did look around and make sure we were comfortable.nnI highly recommend this hotel. Easy to find and lots of parking. It is close enough to downtown to explore with a quick drive.
Booked here last long weekend for our son's soccer tournament. Room was clean and spacious. But for a hotel that, from over hearing some conversations, is use to sports related guests, the fridge is quite small. We brought food items that needed to be in the fridge and could barely fit them in. Sports families don't always want to buy food. We typically bring our own. And it doesn't have a freezer part so you can't freeze your Ice packs. But the front desk WILL allow you to bring your freezer packs down to their freezer.nAlso....the elevator is SLOW. Beginning at about 9am you're waiting for that elevator to come so give yourself some extra time.nThe restaraunt has a lounge area. But you will be kicked you out once their kitchen closes, even though there are no doors separating the restaraunt from the hotel and you'll have to reconvene in the work space area close to the elevators. I understand they just want to wipe down the tables and make sure no garbage is left over but families like to hang and it doesn't give you the space especially when there are multiple sports teams. You can't have food and drinks in the lobby. So you can sit and chat quietly only. But I mean that's what you see when you walk into the hotel, so I can understand that.nAll in all not a bad place. Staff was pleasant. But was on the pricey side. $1000 for 3 nights on a long weekend. Not ideal.
Excellent place. The rooms were very clean. Housekeeping was excellent. Pool, jacuzzi and laundry area were spotless. We will definitely come back to this hotel. Nice view from the pool terrace.
We were really pleased with our stay at the hotel as it is a very nice hotel modern and with all the facilities needed. Hotel staff are great! Very helpful and friendly. The rooms are quite large and high, and the laundry and washer room was a bust though only some machines work. Pool on the same floor 15th. Parking was free, and visitors parking too asked the front desk. As for local transportation, LRT across the highway beside the hotel. Bus stops on the road near the hotel if u prefer local transport. Would recommend.
The hotel is very mid in terms of amenities and quality of rooms. While spacious, the rooms are very dated.nnThe bed was just about the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on, so much that I actually considered sleeping on a hotel floor as a viable alternative. The light coming off the microwave lit the whole room and I ended up shoving a pillow in the cubby to block the light. The TV streaming options did not work.nnThe shampoo and conditioner in the bath were great, but there was no lotion offered. Of course, the first time I don’t bring any while trying to pack light. The shower head was adequate with enough head room for a 6’0 person.nnThe breakfast buffet, priced at $21 on weekdays, was extremely sub par and not worth the cost. The buffet featured lukewarm eggs, greasy sausage, odd tasting bacon, congealed oatmeal, your choice of Raisin Bran or corn flakes and.. beans?. Limited bread products no bagels and an inexplicable weird and random assortment of salad bar items fruit, yogurt, and .. olives? Marinated mushrooms? For this cost I atleast expect a waffle station. I’ve stayed at lesser hotels with way better breakfast offerings for free.nnThere are no water refill stations anywhere in the hotel, and the water carafe in the main lobby was empty at night.nnFinally, location. There is nothing there. Transportation is a must if you want to see anything in the city. The parking lot was sketchy at night.nnOn the upside, the staff are absolutely lovely. All were very friendly and tried their best to help.
