I stayed in this hotel for a weekend and I was so pleased with my stay. My room was so clean and had a lot of space. There were a ton of great amenities as well like a microwave and a TV with a lot of channels available. The washroom was also super clean.nI was very happy with the free breakfast that was offered. A whole variety of different things, including hot foods like eggs and sausages.nThe location was great - a 10-minute walk to the St. Laurent Shopping Centre but separated enough that it's quiet at night.nI had no issues with my stay here and would definitely book here again if I am in Ottawa.
One of the best budget-friendly accommodation options in Ottawa. Good value for the price. The room was clean and spacious, water and coffee were refreshed daily, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was average but acceptable. Thank you.nnThe location is about a 15–20 minute drive to downtown Ottawa, and there is a metro station within a 10-minute walking distance, which makes getting around quite convenient.
towels and bedsheets are stained from the few recent times i’ve been. what can i say at a 2 star hotel. rooms are decent but walls are really thin, had the room beside me blasting their tv and yelling, i had to call in and they handled it fairly. no netflix or youtube, but has coffee bar all day around. free breakfast is decent.
I think it was good. The hotel is not central, but near subway. Front desk is not that helpful for tourist tips but nice enough. Breakfast was very basic, processed eggs, continental, perhaps add some fruit. Room was good too, beds are comfortable, washroom is old. 2 star fits the bill
I strongly recommend this place for long term visits. We booked 4 nights and it was really good. The beds had daily changes for us and they weren't all that bad. The bathroom was fine except the toilet ring was a bit small. it had a nice view and decent TV shows to watch. It also had a bunch of outlets to charge your devices. The elevator was really fast. We were on the third floor and from floor 1 to floor 3 is like 0.2 seconds. it's conveniently located next to a shopping mall 300 meters away to get food and supplies quickly. There was plenty of parking spaces and the breakfast was nice. There was a variety of classic breakfast foods and treats enough for long term visits. WelcomINNS really does live up to its name.
