Hampton Inn by Hilton Ottawa

For the price we paid for a hotel near downtown Ottawa, the Hampton Inn was great. First and foremost, it has a secure underground garage parking! My husband and I just happened to overhear another guest who got lucky to get his car back after it was stolen while being in Ottawa, so having a secure parking garage was a peace of mind. The room was very big and had a microwave and refrigerator. The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool and a hot tub (small though). The staff was very helpful and friendly. My husband and I only spent 2 nights and 3 days there and agreed that we would book again at the Hampton, even though it's a bit more expensive than the cheap hotels listed, but worth every penny for safety, security, cleanliness, and comfort.

Friendly staff, comfortable beds. Just a small addition to my original review. The kitchen staff was amazing. Being Celiac I choose what I eat wisely, not knowing the ingredients in the breakfast Food I spoke with kitchen staff and they gave me very clear ingredient lists and even bought gluten free bread for me . Keep in mind I was there for almost 2 months and every day they had the bread I could eat, toasted it in a seperate oven and most of all were very friendly. These were items they did for me and were not asked of them . Thank you !

The room was very nice but we weren't able to make it cool enough for our comfort. Very warm. Poor Internet connection. Lovely, large bathroom, but needs a fan.

Spacious and comfortable room and bathroom. Clean. Excellent staff. Very good breakfast selection.

We liked the location and easy access to main access routes. Parking garage and a large parking lot, all free. Spacious rooms with kitchenette. Breakfast included.
