With the healthcare and family doctor shortage in Ottawa, I am so thankful to this clinic. Dr. Bocz is an amazing doctor and always makes me feel seen and cared for. She is very open minded and always gives me as many options as possible, and takes the time to explain things thoroughly to me despite having hundreds of others to care for. I have also been fit in on weekends with the on call doctor for immediate testing and care, which has been efficient and so helpful. The nurses are very kind and reassuring as well. It is difficult to get through to reception due to the high volume of patients, but they always fit me in for phone appointments within the week of calling while I am away at university. Everyone is human and deserves the benefit of the doubt:

While I am happy with the care and follow up I receive from my doctor, getting renewals for prescriptions is a real challenge. I actually showed my doctor the prescription I needed to refill and he never did this. The only way to get action is to send an email phoning won't work outlining the prescription details. I hope this works this time! Thankfully, my pharmacy gave me an emergency refill to keep me going in the meantime.

My doctor is great - really caring and attentive. It is however not possible to speak to reception. Phones aren’t answered and emails are not monitored regularly. Short of showing up in person, I don’t know how else a patient is able to book an appointment.

doctors are great, reception is like pulling fingernails. takes forever to get ahold of anyone. Emails are never answered also why 9 -12 and 1-3 ? so your open for 5 hours a day? not to mention if you try calling at 1:15 the phones still say we are on lunch.

Dr. Murthy is absolutely fabulous. Although I have to wait about a month to see her, when I see the amount of people that do not have a doctor, I am thankful. She is friendly, empathetic, and thorough and is not just one of the doctors that writes prescriptions for anything you want. The front staff is very friendly, but they do not get treated with respect and they get abused by people who think they are entitled to whatever they want, whenever they want. I have never had an issue with them.
