Canadian Tire

Canadian Tire lost a life long customer today. I won't be shopping here again after the sub-par customer service experience I received from "store manager" Paul. Price signs (multiple) on sifto salt pallet read 3.99 for 10kg bag. Product scanned in at 11.99. Paul blamed the mix up on customers moving the signs, then told me he needed to go check the pallets himself. Left me standing waiting at the cash register for a FULL 20 minutes. Cashier had to page him 3x before he responded. Told her to tell me the price on the shelf was wrong and the product was 11.99. Couldn't even return to the cash desk to tell me himself! For the record, it's against the scanning code of practice (consumer law) to label a product one price and then sell it for 4x as much at the register. Not a single sign near any of the pallets was for 11.99. What kind of second rate store are they running here? Won't ever be going back.

Booked 12pm appointment to fix a front light. As I wasn’t sure specifics, I asked them to do engine oil change by the way. To save time, I signed the paper to authorize them to fix whatever light burned out. I was told it should be very quick. One hour later, saw my car ready and parked outside but I didn’t get my paperwork and key until another hour later after my multiple follow-ups. Hear this. The first thing they told me is that sorry for the long wait. Your engine oil has been changed but you know what, you have a front light burned out!! WTH?? That was the whole purpose I’m here. For all the two hours, i just got an oil change! I have to wait all over again! Admittedly, the service staff is very nice so I’m giving two stars instead of one.

It is a good experience to buy snow tires in this shop. We got many valuable and professional advices from Jeff and chose the most appropriate set of tires and wheels. Really thanks for Jeff's great knowledge and patience.

Worst service! I ordered 2 items online. When I called to find out when I can pick them up, a customer service rep told me that the items were out of stock. They cancelled my order. I went in out of curiosity just to see if the items were in fact out of stock. Both items were on the shelf in plain site. Why bother ordering online when their lazy and rude staff won’t even bother to check the shelf? Horrible service.

My overall experience here is very good. No issues, staff has always been professional and pleasant.
