Brook's NOFRILLS Edmonton

Disappointed.nI'm changing my 4 stars to 1. I thought no frills was a discounted store, but everything here is a $1 to $2 above the normal price of the superstore. The usual pineapple $5 in superstore is $7 here, peppers $6 and in superstore $5. Same with other stuff.nThough it's a small place to shop but used to have everything one needs, even prices were the same as superstore never discounted prices.nnI went to the superstore and added superstore videos to facilitate everyone. Give me a thumbs up

I shop here alot more now that I've found that there is a large section of Israeli imports/Kosher food. I really appreciate this.nnAlso, the store itself is always very clean.

Went to this place just like my usual visit as any other day. The new customer service member, an asian lady, probably in her mid 40's is enough to ruin your day. She served me like doing a favor to me, no greetings!! backbone of any service roles. While the other two service team members were working with packed customer queues, she was barely serving anyone when I decided to go to her. I can clearly sense why people might have been avoiding her. I'm so surprised how she might have ended up landing this customer service role?? More to surprise, this store management is a bunch of sleepy bears.

Every time I buy onions here, there's always a moldy one in the bag. I thought it was a limited occurrence, but it's literally every time, even when I inspect the bags. Yesterday, I bought some apricots to make Mince Pie for Christmas and the whole bag of fruit was also moldy. I'm not paying for rotten food.

Some creepy little geek is always on the intercome calling code 12 customer code 12. Staff here are cooked. Great store though. Great prices an in need of affordable food.
