WestGate Halal Meat & Deli/ Mediterranean foods

Westgate, please have some respect for your PAYING customers who are keeping this store open! These rotten peppers are an insult to us. You serioysly expect your customers to buy these?? I wouldnt get them even if they were free. I wouldnt feed them to animals. This is not the first time I see this here. I am seriously thinking of switching to Safadi where prices are less outragous and produce always fresh!

HinI bought minced lamb and the total weight was 2.36 pounds as per sticker. I has to divide the minced meat into 3 portions. After dividing the meat, i weighed it and it was less than what was on the sticker, as it was showing 1lb 15.1 oz =1.944 lbs. I used the second machine and again it was lower, 1.911 lbs. Adding tray and bottom absorber, it will be close to 1.944 lbs. Either my machines are inaccurate or machine in the butcher section is out of calibration. Please have it checked.

I live in California and every time I’m in Edmonton I have to come to this store. Great ownership. I buy so much from there such as meat veggie etc.. everything stays fresh for many days after. Bought Kafta 4 days ago and usually the meat changes the color on the inside after few days not the case here, there are so many benefits to shopping there from prices to quality. Thanks for being honest.

It was the only place I went to because they had Turkish products. I bought ground beef yesterday and the top of the package looked red. I came home and opened it and the inside was pitch black. spoiled meat! I will never go back here again!

This place is amazing! They’re meats, kebabs are great! They also make these amazing zaatar and meat sandwiches. Highly recommend them!
