Small room and even smaller bathroom. Uncomfortable for a family of 4 two queen size beds. Rooms were renovated and decent. Rooms were clean, however they have a bad MICE PROBLEM. Location was perfect for the fireworks show on English Bay, but until they get the rodent problem under control, I would never stay there again. Staff was nice.l and accommodating.
The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to English bay beach and lots of great restaurants and shops. Rooms have been renovated. The bathrooms are quite small.nThe staff was friendly and helpful, especially when we had a mouse visit our room.nThey moved us within a couple of hours and provided us with a breakfast voucher for the next day. Thankfully no more mice were seen during the rest of our stay.
A great place to stay for a couple of nights whether its business or pleasure. Close to Stanley Park and the beautiful beaches. More importantly, great place to eat and party during the Stanley Cup and Superbowl.nnEd and the staff bent over backwards to our needs and will definitely return to stay. We never had a problem as others have stated while staying there. Thank you BW Plus Sands.
2024 and they don’t have smart tv’s. They have cable with very very few channels. Fans need to be added to the bathroom to remove the moisture and prevent the mold from forming around the bottom of the shower. That’s right, little bit of mold around the bottom caulking . Other than that the hotel is in a perfect location!
Avoid at all costs. We arrived and within 2 hours of being in our room there was a large mouse or rat running around. Room 325 We were temporarily moved to a suite for the night and then we were told to check out in the morning and come back at 4pm for a new room. With 2 young kids this was a huge inconvenience. We woke up and the kitchen was full of ants, crawling all over our stuff. Great. We repacked and checked out and didn't come back until 4 like we were told. We received a new room with no working ac. Room 212 We were told they'd fix the issue. Which was them providing us with a floor fan. Nearly $500 a night to get moved around and they don't provide breakfast. It's absolutely horrible. We left an entire day early without a refund because it was impossibly hot for the kids and couldn't do it another night. We were not compensated for any of the issues.
