We are a family owned hotel and are fortunate enough to call Banff and the Canadian Rockies our home. We welcome all our guests like they are part of our family, and we take great pleasure in ensuring you have the best Banff experience.

We love the high country inn! It's so great for families, very affordable. The pool is big and has two hot tubs! It was clean and has been recently renovated. The owner saw us struggling to get up to our room and jumped up to help and offered his help again when we were leaving. We walked to all the locations easily as it's right in town. Underground parking is available but you have to get there early in the evening to get a spot for the night which was not a problem since we just walked to get to dinner. Great views too. We recommend this place to everyone.

After deciding to stay in Banff for a second night, we booked at the High Country Inn as our first place was full. What a pleasant stay! Check-in was smooth and friendly and the lobby was clean and inviting with a warm fire going. Parking was free and indoors, which was a nice surprise. The room was spacious and comfortable, even for our family of four. The kids enjoyed the pool. We will be returning here for our annual trip to Banff next year.

Really good location, close to downtown Banff all the good restaurants and shopping. Free parking. Building looked a little older from the outside, but nice renovation inside. Staff friendly, helpful and quick with check-in and out.

I was actually pleasantly surprised. It was a case of Not expecting much and this hotel exceeded our expectations. The price and dated appearance are a bit misleading. The rooms are actually fairly updated. Bed was comfortable and we had a deck w/ a bit of a view. The room was clean and comfortable. Hotel itself was quiet. The check in counter is adequate but fairly plain and benign, a bit sterile in appearance ss opposed to warm, welcoming and inviting. However price was right. The attached restaurant was fairly pricy in our estimation so we decided to go elsewhere . The hotel is conveniently located to downtown and local amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful enough. Would stay here again.

The staff was kind of lukewarm. Not very friendly but they were very helpful. The hot tub and pools was very nice and so was the dry sauna. The room was a little small but comfortable.
