Wow this place is the best, I wish I could give it six stars. 

We regularly come here for brunch — by far the best brunch place in the city. By now I think we’ve had everything on the menu, and it’s all mind-blowing. I can’t list a favourite dish. Maybe the polenta and scrambled egg? Or any of the pastas? You also MUST try the banana bread. So good!!!!

My husband and I have been here in the past and had a wonderful experience. Service was fantastic, food was tasty and the atmosphere was cozy. Having dined here before, I understand that reservations cannot be made and an hour to two hour wait can be expected if you don't make the first sitting. However, after my most recent experience, I cannot forgive them for the terrible customer service. My husband and I wanted to share this restaurant with our friends. We came about 7pm and placed our name and number down for a table. We were told an hour to an hour and a half until we could be seated. We took ourselves to a coffee shop nearby in Gastown to wait out the time. After over an hour had passed we walked back to the restaurant and inquired about our spot in line. We were informed that the table we were getting was served their main course and that it would be an additional 20-30 minutes. We waited outside for a little longer until it got too cold so we went to wait in our parked car a block away. We waited in the car until 10 pm, now extremely hungry and decided to go find someplace else to eat. I wish the servers had the courtesy to contact and inform us that we wouldn't be seated for dinner that evening. The restaurant closes at 11 pm, and we never did get the text to inform us that our table was ready.

Simple yet delicious menu. Even the bread and olive oil is delicious but likely speaks to quality and freshness. Lineups are the worst part but there's an app now that allows you to monitor how many parties are ahead of you. The wait on a Tues evening at 8pm was 30 min.

Great place for pasta. Love that they make their own pasta from scratch and the simple genuine Italian cooking style. They serve a unique brunch some pasta based. 

The most interesting part about this place is that they will let you buy any wine by the glass as long as you commit to 2 glasses. Then the bottle is open for everyone to buy by glass, great way to try new wines!

Delicious pasta which is absolutely worth the wait! The restaurant is not very big so I would recommend you come line up right before they open. The only downside is that they're  situated in a sketchy neighbourhood and I've had to pick up my kids before to make sure they didn't step on needles.
