White Spot

Easy to get seated even in Friday night. The food is great and kids friendly. They have some craft beer options and great happy hour time! Staffs are well-trained and always give great service. It’s a chained restaurant but one of my favourite spots in downtown if we can’t find a place or feel lazy to search another spot.

Another fantastic White Spot experience. Amazing, personable service and great food. No matter which White Spot it's been great. The downtown location (Dunsmuir) is beautiful. Big, comfortable booths. Our server was really, really great.

You hear many good things about white spot, but definitely not about their brunch... This is the reason why I have to give it three stars. I will most likely be back to try other items on the menu, that look great and are really well priced. This is a famous chain in Canada, well known for their affordable meals, in a cozy environment with well trained staff. You won't be disappointed eating here, but plan ahead and ask for some of the signature dishes instead of going for a brunch. I've had the fried chicken and waffle (a Canadian classic) and it was bland, at most. Chicken was sort of tasteless, waffle was ok and really small (one cut in two halves) and the bacon, well, is bacon so you can't go wrong with that :)

Great location for this restaurant. They have a bar as well so you can have only drinks. They have some nice a spacey booths. Food's always been great and servers are always nice.

Good, simple food and a good price. Good place to bring kids or to stop for something easy and fairly quick. Fries are bottomless which is awesome, my one comment is that they do a fair bit of price-based promotions that can get a bit confusing. Friendly service and quick, tasty food were my main highlights.
