Jam Cafe

This restaurant deserves every high rating it recieves. The food was simple yet incredibly flavorful. The Brioche French toast was at the perfect sweetness level and the Charlie bowl was nothing short of scrumptious and filling. The Lavender Greyhound is definitely the drink to try for a tart, fruity drink with a little kick. The restaurant itself is very cozy and seating is minimal, which is why there is a line out of the door. While the 45 minute wait outside was the worst part of the Jam experience, it was worth every minute.

We walked past Jam Café on our way to another breakfast place and noticed a long line out the door. It was literally freezing outside so we had to see what all the hype was about. We got up early the next morning and got there just as it opened (we're from the southern states so waiting in the freezing cold was going to be rough). We are so glad we got up and got going. Our breakfast was so delicious. I had the fried mushroom with biscuits and mushroom gravy. The batter on the mushroom was very flavorful. The biscuit had a hint of sweetness and was not salty (some restaurants make them very salty which is not my favorite). The eggs were cooked perfectly! The server recommended the Hot Shot (tequila and espresso) and that was very good with a bit of a kick. My husband enjoyed his breakfast though I'm not sure what it was because I was so busy devouring mine! It was a biscuit bowl with meat, I think. It was great to be able to get a vegetarian breakfast without having to be picky or piecemeal sides to form a meal.

Don't be intimidated by the line in front of this restaurant. It definitely worth the wait. The ommelet was one of the best I've ever had. All dishes are big enough for a hungry person. The music was great and the service fast and very professional. I will come back for sure in the near future!

Great value, great food, great service, great atmosphere. If you want to get in without a wait, suggest getting here before they open at 8am. Portions are HUGE, but that isn't compensating for a lack of quality. Have been here numerous times over the last couple of years, and both breakfast and lunch dishes are fantastic. The staff are very attentive, and will fill up your coffee until you can't have any more!

Fantastic restaurant! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the food was creative and beautifully prepared. We loved everything we ordered! Well worth the one hour wait in the cold rain. Come early to avoid the worst of the line - parties of 2 were seated much faster.
