Decoration is good, staff is friendly and service is quite quick,.. I personally did not like their pasta. It was below my expectations. Don't think that those who know what "Italian pasts" is like would be impressed with their chief cooking. At the moment I was about to submit this review, my 8 yo son corrected me saying he kind of liked his dinner. So I am changing to 4 stars from 3 and won't come here again. P.S. and yes, the place is inexpensive...

The Old Spaghetti Factory is usually a pretty solid choice for a nice out. Its normally good for kids, large groups, etc. My last visit, we had a group with a couple allergies and restrictions and our server did an amazing job handling it all. However when our bill came, he got super confused. He mixed up literally all of our bills even though he wrote everything down, according to our seats. And it took about an hour for him to come back to give us our proper bills! After we had already finished our meal, we had to wait that long just to pay. It was a little ridiculous. I totally understand how hard it is to deal with large tables, but for such a big restaurant, I feel like they should have it together a little bit better.

Service has always been good and food has always been pretty consistent. Good sized portions and all included at a good price. If you're looking for high end Italian food it's not, but it's decent and you can take the whole family out for a fairly reasonable amount. It's also a unique place and geared to family dining. It's a good place to bring kids.

Been coming here for a few years with the family. We love it. The pasta is always good and it's a very warm atmosphere. Service is very welcoming and quick. Good for anyone with a pasta craving!

Interesting, unique antique decor. This place is a historical gem. The food is very reasonably priced and you get a lot for what you pay. One of the best deals in gastown. The service was great, I don't really expect good service in Vancouver so this was definitely a cut above expectations. Food portions were good. The food itself was alright.
