Really great food and service. Loved the fish tacos with the crunchy fried texture! The quesibirria was really good too but the only downside is they don't have the consummé with it for extra dipping, they gave a really spicy pineapple salsa with it instead.
Holy piles of Mexican food! We just wanted a nice brunch and we got one! Our server wasn't kidding when he told us we were ordering a lot of food lol. We didn't think it would be because it was all from the starters section. I was going order a breakfast dish on top of it, but was warned that maybe that would be a bit much... and it wouldn't have fit on our table anyway! We had a nice spot on the patio, and not too busy. Everything tasted very fresh and we got a lot of it. It reminded me of some of the meals I had in Tulum. Not exactly the most street food, local, truly authentic Mexican fare, but good for tourists and white people : That isn't a bad thing! It really was satisfying. I didn't even take photos of everything because we were too hungry and too busy eating!
Very conveniently located near the beach in White Rock. Had the rainbow enchiladas, which was absolutely perfect for someone who is indecisive like me—you get enchiladas with all 3 salsas! It was a little light on the brown one, mole, but I could still taste it distinctly on the center one. Fantastic flavor on all three! Sat on the enclosed patio, and it was lovely. Plenty of heat and a nice view.
Delicious food with very good portions. We ordered huevos rancheros, chilaquiles and tacos. My chilaquiles came piled high with beef and mole sauce. So good! My son pretty much inhaled his tacos. They're so good. We're definitely going back! The dessert was pretty good too. It was a nice sweet ending to our meal. Service was friendly.
Thank you to the staff, especially our server Susan, for making our first time at the restaurant so welcoming. Food was delicious, tasted so authentic. One of the best Jalapeño margaritas I've had! Looking forward to our next visit.
Great food and pretty good service! Flavours were excellent, portions were generous and the drinks were very tasty. We would have liked our server to be more attentive to our beverages but the food more than made up for this small oversight.
I recently visited Zapoteca, I ordered Del Mar and Caramela dishes, both served in a hot stone mortar, which was perfect for sharing. Del Mar was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor, but we found the portion size to be quite small for sharing. Caramel was decent in portion size, but it lacked some flavor depth, such as salt or spice. Nevertheless, the meat quality was top-notch. The Horchata water was a delightful beverage that provided a sweet, refreshing taste. However, it was quite sugary, which may not be to everyone's liking.
Great quality food. I bought nachos, quesabirria tacos, and a strawberry limeade mocktail. The nachos were amazing nonetheless, same goes for the quesabirria tacos. Although, I found a piece of hair in the side sauce that the quesabirria tacos came with. I also found a piece of hair in my strawberry limeade mocktail. I would give 3 1/2 stars they don’t have that option on here for it so I gave it 3 stars because of the hair. The service was ok, my table got neglected because of other tables and we just wanted to pack up and take out the left overs but had to wait over 10 minutes even though the server only had 3 tables at the time. Regardless of the hair issues in my food and drink, it was good. **PLEASE CHECK YOUR FOOD FOR HAIR BEFORE EATING.
What a delightful experience, its my first visit here but definitely not last. We ordered veggie nachos and grilled shrimp tacos both were great. Service is awesome simply love the vibe here.
Food was decent. Had their tacos and burritos. Not the best mexican I have ever had but very yummy still. You pay for the location as it is overpriced, but what is not these days. I would give them another try, would love to have their branch menu. Maybe I will understand then why people rave about this place.
