Coney Island Seafood

It's always great to enjoy fish and chips by the ocean in White Rock. This place was new to me, but the service was very friendly. The dish however was not my favourite- I didn't love the batter and I found it lacked flavour but I know it's quite popular, so I think it depends on what style of fish and chips you enjoy. They have a couple tables set out that you can sit at and they also give boxes to use for take out.

Great fish n chip spot in White Rock. The servings are large and come with plenty of ketchup and tartar sauce. Other places you have to order extra or the fish pieces are very small. I did notice that the fish batter was more greasy than other places but overall a great lunch on the beach.

I have come to Coney Island since I was 8 and I’m 26 now. I have tried the fish and chips all along white rock. Coney Island is THE place to get fish and chips in white rock. I’m telling you, my tastebuds have never been slapped harder with pure flavour. Fish is ALWAYS hot and crisp, with the batter not being too heavy, and the fries are light and fluffy like a cloud. The oil they use is high quality, as after you eat here you don’t feel bloated or heavy. Nice amount of grease on the fish naturally. Killer tartar sauce. The family than run it are friendly and always efficient. They have excellent hours for the quality of seafood you get here. You won’t wait long and they are so proud of their food you can watch them cook it right in front of you through their open style window. They won’t hesitate to hook you up with vinegar, ketchup, or anything you need for your fish n chips. Do yourself a favour, try it out and see for yourself!

Whenever we want Halibut and chips we head to Coney Island Seafood. Orders take between 5-10 minutes to make. There’s bench’s to sit and eat at along the beach walkway. Crispy Batter and not fishy smelling! Always great!

I ordered the clam strips and chips, and the grilled cheese for my son. The portions are good and the fries are nice and crispy. The clam strips were ok.I'm just surprised that our orders didn't come with tartar sauce or even a lemon wedge. The grilled cheese wasn't very good. It tasted like kraft singles and not real cheese.

Hands down the best fish and chips I have ever had. The batter is amongst the best ever. Golden crispy goodness. And the tartar sauce is to die for.Food: 5/5

The halibut here was really good. The cod on the other hand was somewhat greasy and didn't have much flavour. The staff here is really nice. During the summer they still didn't have indoor seating open but hopefully they will reopen it in the future.Recommended dishesFish and Chips

The best fish and chips in all of the lower mainland! Large portions! Make sure you ask for their homemade Tartar sauce. I am celiac so they pan fry the fish in egg. Unbelievably good!!Whenever we are in white rock we order from here!

I chose this restaurant based on Google reviews, and this time didn't works. The worst food that I ate. Terrible fried fish as well as such decaying place.Food: 1/5
