Highly recommend this amazing place if you are looking for a great seafood experience at white rock. Fish had a silk taste and texture. Fried Calamari was surprisingly good. Prices are very reasonable and interior tables and design is beautiful. Not to mention the super friendly staff :
Good fish and chips with generous portions. Our server was very friendly and the atmosphere is interesting. You don't need to order the large tarter sauce it's huge as the small size is more than enough. For the portion of food the plates are a bit tiny but otherwise a great little fish and chips place.
A great and convenient takeout lunch to enjoy by the ocean while hungry gulls stare at you for scraps. Had the one piece fish and chips which comes with a complimentary piece of fish. The portions are generous and you will definitely be full. Taste was good. What's cool is that they have a tartar sauce you can buy which they make themselves that tastes very creamy.
Delicious and fresh seafood! The fish was so fresh. There was no fishy aftertaste. The tartar sauce is flavourful and creamy. I also loved their clam chowder. It paired really well with some Pinot Gris. Their fries were flavourful but not really crispy. It's all good though. The portions are quite generous as well. The service is also friendly. Highly recommend!
This is the busiest fish and chips spot on the strip. Line was quite long for takeout but we were seated inside pretty quickly. Service was great and so were the fish and chips. Chowder was decent and the slaw was not good but overall a good experience. If you order only fish no chips they'll throw in another piece of fish for you. They got our order wrong, we didn't order chips but they gave us an extra fish anyways. There are 3 or so fish and chip shops within the same block so will have to try them all to compare.
It was an excellent lunch on a busy Sunday afternoon! Despite the restaurant being incredibly busy for both dine in and take out, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, the food came out pipping hot and fresh within 15-20 minutes. The fish and chips were heavenly awesome, and I'm already craving to go back again hopefully soon!!!
Best fish and chips in White Rock. You can’t miss it on Marine Dr. There is usually a long line especially on summer weekends and tons of seagulls. There is a dine in area, but my favorite thing to do is take it to go and eat on the beach. They serve a generous portion of fish and fries. The breading is not too heavy and doesn’t overpower the cod. The fish itself is delicious and a big piece. We ordered 3 piece and was more than enough for 2 people. Enjoy and watch out for the skydiving seagulls .
Great seafood dinner! We ordered the seafood platter for 2 and couldn’t finish the whole plate of food. At $49.95 for the platter the average per person is $25 each, not bad. For those who are watching their weight, this platter is a bit greasy for you.
Yummy fish as usual! The fries were tasty, but short little stubs, we put the ketchup on and used a fork! I do think it would be nice to have a tartar sauce included in the price, but oh well! We ordered out and ate across the tracks. A perfect sunset meal.
The best fish and chips! The batter just melts in your mouth and fries are super crunchy and soft inside. This is a one piece combo got 3!.
