If you are out for a maxican food fix this is a place to try. The fish tacos and the chips and salsa with guacamole are amazing. Friendly staff too. Place is right opposite the pier with a nice view if you are seated near the windows or the patio outside.
What a great little place to have dinner at. The Gringos Street Tacos were yummmm but I wish I had known what Valentina's was before hand and ordered my tacos without it . Not a fan of hot sauce . Tried one of the Crispy Tacos and wow. The Pineapple Coconut Margarita....amazing. Definitely recommend this place for your next food adventure
Some of the best serive I've had in a long long time. Amazing and engaging server. The food was a little lacking in quality for the price, but that's the beach for you. Great Marg's and atmosphere though. Would definitely come back.
Very nice little Mexican on the waterfront. Great view from the window, which overlooks the peer. The food was delicious, although the pricing is on the higher side. There is parking available out front, although I would imagine it would be difficult in the summer months.
Portions were OK, but I like bigger ones. The food tasted good. Best part was the service that came with a smile . Even from a mask you could tell! Awesome, friendly staff who made it a much more enjoyable for us. Nice views of the pier and the ocean if you sit in the deck. Overall an very enjoyable experience.
Had a wonderful time dining during sunset. The service was excellent and our waitress was very personable. We ordered taquitos and sizzling garlic prawns all well seasoned and delicious. I don't remember the names of our margaritas but they were popular to order and absolutely amazing. Not pictured shredded chicken burrito + rice & beans. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming. Highly recommend!
This was a family visit group of 4. The restaurant has good decoration but as soon as I sat down noticed that some of the chandeliers were dusty also the windows were not clean then the food arrived. I don’t know if you can call this Mexican food, it wasn’t bad but it was not Mexican food. The tacos were cold and the sauce on our enchilada was not tomato sauce. Too expensive for what it is.
If I could give 0 stars I would. This place has left me such a sour note. We came in for the Santa Sleigh ride that happens every year at Christmas time. This was the only location that we couldn’t wait to leave. We came in as 4, you seated us with strangers and charged us automatic gratuity without telling us. Shame on you, even after 2/4 of us paid and tipped on top. You need to tell patrons before hand. That is wrong. I was also shocked when all I had was a “ Christmas shot “ and a margarita which came to a whopping 40$. We were at the fairmont hotel in Vancouver? Word spreads like wild fire and I have let everyone know about this. Your food is also overpriced and not authentic. As a chef, it’s not good. The wife of the establishment came across as super defensive and rude. I will never go back here and I’m so angry that my hard earned money was wasted. Shame on you!
Ok. Quite pricy, but it’s also on the beach, and you get a pretty good view, so it could be worth it for you.
This resturant was the first maxican restaurant in Vancouver opened in 1959 by a famous footballer. 4 years back it shifted to White Rock beach. The ambiance, staff and food is out of this world. Must visit and experience the ambiance and food for a great time.
