Ordered the family pack which came with 12 pieces of cod and two large fries. It was more than enough to feed 6 people + 1 toddler. The fish was fresh and flakey and the fries were nicely cooked.
Our favorite fish and chips at White Rock Beach! Tried them all. Lightly battered, not greasy, fresh, hot fish. Cod or halibut are both delicious!
Great fish and chips and exceptional sides. Order the homestyle tartar sauce it's worth it! and make sure to ask for salt at the pick-up window even their fries are very lightly salted. I always order the cod and chips, and I also recommend the onion rings and deep-fried pickles in particular, though everything I have eaten here has been excellent. The service is friendly, but keep your ears open for your order number being called as the staff are not super loud and there tends to be a fair amount of background noise.
Excellent fish and chips and they offer mushy peas! Glad we picked this spot. There's a little scenic seating here with shady trees. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The positions were generous.
Best fish and chips on the beach !! Fish is fresh and NOT from frozen. Same with the fries, they are fresh cut. Homemade coleslaw and mushy peas are delish. Once you try it you'll never eat fish and chips anywhere else.......!Food: 5/5
Halibut and chips, side of mushy peas and the homemade tartar sauce. While the halibut is expensive, as expected anywhere, it was delicious and generous, with an extra small piece added in to the one piece meal. The mushy peas really were very tasty. Paying extra for the homemade tartar sauce is well worth it...tangy and fresh tasting.
Best fish and chips on the strip and it’s been in business since the 1820’s. Portions are generous. I find the 3 pieces enough for 2 people. You can eat inside or take your meal across the street to eat it on the beach. Great service and friendly staff. Make sure to order the home made tartar sauce!!
The fish and chips is awesome very tasty.. The price is ok and it's worth it. The server is friendly and very accommodating. Fast service. If you guys looking for a fish and chips at east beach area i would highly recommend this place. We will definitely come back in the future
Still the best fish and chips on White Rocks East Beach. The fish is fresh with a light crispy batter that doesn't overpower the fish beneath. Fries are delightful. Not soggy or thin. Very tasty. Coleslaw is fresh and a good alternative if you don't want fries. A classic meal to eat looking over the ocean.
Most excellent fish and chips I have had in a long while! Crispy light batter, fresh moist fish with a great pile of crisp chips! Don’t wait in line for Moby’s - head east to Montgomery’s ! Only iffy is that their hours are not as regular as Moby’s but you won’t be left hungry on East Beach even if they are closed!
