It's a nice and short trail. Quite quiet despite the crowds up there. It's a bit of slippery at first then the slope is much better ; the terrain become even almost flat. The trail is quite small but very walkable even though there are some roots you have to pay attention to. Some part, in early october, were a little bit mud, but not a big deal. The rapid place is nice, but it may be more impressive during spring or early summer.

I do enjoy any trail in Algonquin, Whisky rapids only takes 30-40 min. I enjoy the section going along the river the most.

Amazing hike. A little hard on the knees near the beginning. So peaceful.

Easy hike, the rapids are ok, just a good little hike with a couple of elevation changes.
