Wild, dense and rugged! The hike up to the top offers an incredible view. This trail also passes by a beautiful stream and pristine lakes. It took us 3 hours with 2-3 water break stops.

Despite the mud and the roots, this trail is well worth to walk. The outlook point up high is a wow. Beautiful scenery crossing the river and by the lake too. Reserve at least three and a half hours for the round trip.

We went in late October and missed most of the fall colours definitely worth it though especially if you go in late September instead

You will need an early start to the day with this trail! This trail was decently long, felt like it took forever! A good trail for those that are experienced hikers. There was lots of up hill climbing. The lookout point was spectacular though. You also cross over a bridge with some rapids where and old railway used to be. Make sure to pack lots of water and have good shoes! Bring the bug spray, there were lots of bugs in the wooded area of this trail. We ran into some fresh bear poo on the trail, so be on the look out for bears. Overall, I would recommend this trail for experienced hikers and/or people that are in good shape to be walking all sorts of terrains.
