Great hike, with a lovely view. Dog friendly, and family friendly.

For those wondering the lookout point is 1km north west from the lookout point trail marker. The trail is a 2.1km loop trail. The trail is quite steep at points. Not suitable for people with joint issues. Also not suitable after rain, as it will get muddy and slippery. Anyway, I went there late in the day and saw beautiful sunset.

A young woman in Huntsville recommended we hike this trail if nothing else. She was right. The 2km trail rewarded us with a terrific vista. Bring bug spray. Watch for roots. There are steep inclines.

One of the best Trails in Algonquin Park. Amazing views throughout the year. Autumn is the best, but gets crowded.

Personally, I think it's the best trail in the southern part of Algonquin. A must do! It's not too difficult either, despite being a little of a incline.
