Definitely a harder trek in the winter. It was beautiful weather for February, sunny but super icy. Snow shoes werent needed, but spikes definitely were. All in all with sight seeing, the trail took me just under four hours.

Really had a beautiful day walking this trail in early October. Saw only about 20 people on the 11km trail. We hike a fair bit and finished the trail in about 4 hours. Allow more time if you take frequent breaks. You can get free maps at the trail head which are very detailed and offer information about the history of the trail. We did not get lucky with wildlife sightings but enjoyed the trail.

This is a solid day hike, more challenging during wet conditions. On a beautiful day during a dry spell you could knock it out in 3-4 hours. After a season of heavy rain and mucky conditions the pace is considerably slower especially since the trail hugs many rivers and bogs. Washed out and underwater sections are plenty. There aren't many mind blowing views on this trail but it's a good one to get your footing and experience nature.

11km trail is amazing. You need at least 5 hours to complete the trail.

The best hwy 60 corridor trail for wildlife viewing... Only few sections in the beginning and before the end of the trail are more challenging, otherwise fairly flat and easy... The more difficult sections can be muddy after rain and stay this way for couple of days. Keep this in mind and wear proper hiking boats or shoes even if weather is warm and dry.
