The Vancouver Seawall at Coal Harbour is stunningly beautiful. Stretching along the water’s edge, it offers breathtaking views of the harbor, North Shore mountains, and city skyline. The paved path is perfect for a peaceful stroll or a scenic bike ride, with plenty of spots to pause and take in the surroundings. With yachts docked nearby and the occasional seaplane taking off, there’s always something interesting to see. The mix of nature and urban landscape here is simply mesmerizing, making it a must-visit spot for locals and visitors alike!
During my short day in Vancouver, I was excited to learn walking distance of this beautiful attraction. I was there 5 to 7 PM, time to view a gorgeous sunset. It was wonderful to see people of all ages, babies to 70+ enjoying the sunshine, beach volleyball, picnics, local restaurants and of course the epic sunset. Lots of room to walk plenty of room to spread out on the grass, and a beautiful sandy beach to enjoy.
Really gorgeous path - we rented some bikes nearby and rode the full loop. I hadn’t biked in a while, but people generally passed safely and respectfully and the views are so worth the effort. On a nice day, the city views are lovely.
An amazing feat over 62 years to build this wall around the island to protect against erosion. A lovely 9 km track above the wall for walking, jogging or cycling. Lovely ocean views everywhere.
Visited in October 2024 in the morning.nGreat place to walk, that has different paths for drivers, bicycling, and walking.nHighly suggest this path for a good scenic walk and view of different parts of the area.
