Bro no words for them . We can all understand that staff is little busy but for valid and true good reasons they help as soon as they could. My doctors . Were can and clarisa I didn’t catch there names but they were so good and even full staff there . They helped me in just 2 hours total . My vaccination my blood checkup they gave me medicines and all other things and in emergency ward cleaning is so good washrooms were so neat and clean . The girl there was so attentive to clean all the chairs and door handles and she help with doctors she is from Bhutan I asked her because she was so hardworking . That impressed me a lot . I don’t know people put bad review . They are all good and professional in their work . Social worker staff is also kind and polite and reception lady she was so cool and jolly . Thankew guys for this service and treatment .

My personal experience with this ER impressed me. Sure, it was a busy night and there was a wait, but the nurses and doctor were super attentive and thorough. I felt listened to and safe. I eventually left feeling like I understood the problem and my next steps. All the staff were kind and patient with me despite the busy environment. I know other people's experiences have varied, but I feel grateful for the care and attention I received.

Horrible care, no compassion, unacceptable wait times. A family member of mine was rushed to the ER in an ambulance. They lost a lot of blood. We waited three hours to see the ER doctor. Four more hours to see the specialist. Shortly after, my relative’s blood pressure dropped to 80/50, vision going dark, falling unconscious. Instead of reconnecting her IV fluid, the nurse kept delaying while my family was screaming out they could not see. I told the nurse to stop talking and reconnect the IV and while the patient is falling unconscious she turned around to me and began yelling at me, saying “you will not speak to me this way” among other things, being passive aggressive while I am watching my family fall unconscious with an undetectable blood pressure. Her name was Katie. I will never forget this experience.

Both times i went here for pneumonia and kidney stones, they were able to find the problem. However, each time, they made me wait around 2 hours longer than it should have taken to be sent to diagnostic services ultrasound and xray. If you go here, go with a friend who can bring you warm towels when you need them and to make sure the nurses don’t forget about you. It’s really spirit-crushing to sit through the wait alone.

Unless you are dying, go to a clinic. 12 hour wait times show just how far our health system has fallen into dysfunction. And a non refundable $1300 charge for a visit that didn't even result in us seeing any doctor. It's no wonder VGH is chasing tens of millions in unpaid fees for non resident emergency visits. It would be faster and cheaper to fly out of country for help.
