Visited The Wren to get some takeout and the place was busy! Staff were polite and managing the crowds really well. Ordered the Bangkok burger and the spicy chicken burger, as well as their cowboy croquettes. The burgers were spectacular, and the fries they came with were some of the best in the city. Croquettes were decent. Overall, a very delicious meal!
I discovered The Wren about two years ago, and somehow it still feels like a hidden gem I want to gatekeep. I’ve been coming back almost weekly ever since for the outrageously good food, the warm atmosphere, and the kind of service that’s become way too rare these days. The staff are effortlessly friendly and make you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in. Sure, there’s sometimes a wait, but that’s only because everyone else has figured out how great this place is too. Trust me, one visit and this becomes your neighbourhood spot.nnSpecial shout-out to the mozzarella sticks, may they rest in peace.
This place!! Food = 10/10. Loved the fish tacos, and everyone enjoyed their meals. They were also great with our kiddo and had a perfect meal option for him he gobbled down the hamburger!. It does get busy but we went early enough to nab a table before the wait set in. Would go back for sure.
It was a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon. A little too chilly for the patio, but happy to eat in at this local spot. The food is always good, the drinks are flowing and service is top notch. Specials change regularly and everything we had was delish.
Bee following these guys on Insta for a while now. Liked almost every pic. Don’t be fooled that you can get all these, as they change it up with an inventive special, daily.nnWe got the po-boy special and the burger and both lived up to my pictures expectations.nnOne way to know in advance? If a restaurant neither takes reservations or delivers, it must be good.
