Cherry’s High Dive

The diner vibes were there, very cool ambiance and super casual. If you prefer to snack or just grab a quick bite then this spot is for you. I really wanted to like the curly fries however they are too salty. Calamari was also salty. Fish tacos were good though so definitely a must try. The pasta alla vodka was not it, yes it was a good portion but nothing special with the sauce. The photo-booth was cute but if you are not the tallest then you might not get the perfect angle and you can’t redo your shots so bye $5. Staff is okay, they get the job done.

Amazing experience from the moment we walked in the restaurant! We called for a reservation at 7, but got to the restaurant an hour early and they were able to rearrange and fit us in. Our server, Becca, was very attentive and personable. The place was also perfect for those who like a homey and relaxing atmosphere to unwind at the end of the day. There was an initial error with our order in that we were given Hawaiian instead of the mushroom-truffle pizza that we ordered, but that was quickly rectified and replaced. The pizza in itself was amazing, thin crust and freshly made; honestly one of the best I’ve had. We were already pretty satisfied with the service and food we had received. However, when the bill came in, we were very surprised that they had marked the pizza complementary for the previous error for the orders! The effort in giving customers exemplary service definitely got them a returning customer. 10/10 food and 10/10 service. Highly recommend to come pay them a visit and we’ll definitely be back! The price was also very reasonable, especially for a restaurant at the heart of downtown Toronto.

Great spot for a casual night out! The pub food is solid, with a simple yet well-executed menu that hits all the right notes. The cocktails were a highlight—perfectly crafted and a great complement to the meal. The service was friendly and attentive, although we did have to ask for a few things throughout dinner. The atmosphere was lively, especially for a Monday night, with the place buzzing and some fantastic tunes playing in the background. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

It was a good experience visiting Cherry’s High Dive.nnThe food was good. The pizza was absolutely delicious. However, we also ordered a mushroom salad, and there were only a few pieces of mushrooms. It could be improved.nnMy favorite drink of the night was the cider—I loved it.nnThe service was excellent, very fast, and friendly.nnThe atmosphere was great. I loved the design of the place, and of course, the photo booth.nnI’ll definitely be coming back for a chill evening, and I’d love to try the brunch.

What a phenomenal patio! Great street watching and dog friendly! The food was amazing! We had fish tacos and the smash burger. The tacos might be the crispiest and most delicious I've tried. And the smash burger has an amazing kick to it. The servers were friendly and helpful. Would definitely return!!
