We had a great lunch today at Bar Poet. Rob was our server and he was so welcoming and had an awesome vibe. Everything was quick and the staff was kind. Not too mention, it's a gorgeous venue that used to be a church!nLoved it and will definitely plan to go back.

From the moment you step in, you’re transported into a dreamy, atmospheric space—twinkling lights, ivy-covered ceilings, exposed brick, and a vibe that feels like a hidden gem tucked away in Europe. It’s moody, intimate, and bursting with charm, making it perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic date.nnWe ordered the Casablanca pizza, and it was an absolute flavour bomb. Think tender pulled spicy chicken, melty cheese, a perfect kick of heat from pickled chilies, and a light, crispy crust that held everything together beautifully. Every bite had that ideal combo of spice, savouriness, and indulgence. This pizza doesn’t just satisfy—it makes a statement.nnTo sip, we tried their famous cocktails and were blown away. The Rose Sangria was light, fragrant, and perfectly balanced—fruity without being too sweet, with lovely floral notes that elevated every sip. The Purple Rain cocktail stole the show visually and taste-wise. Served icy and vibrant, it tasted like a burst of berries and citrus wrapped in a refreshing, smooth finish. I also had their signature Bar Poet beer, which was surprisingly excellent—crisp, clean, and easy to drink, the kind of beer that’s perfect whether you’re starting your night or winding it down.nnWith great service, inventive drinks, and food that delivers beyond expectations, Bar Poet is a place I’d go back to in a heartbeat. It’s got personality, passion, and that little spark that turns a night out into a memory.

Visited bar poet on a night out with friends. The interior is well decorated with lots of ambient lightening. The food and drinks were good especially considering the time midnight and limited options for sit down meals. I enjoyed Rob’s favourite pizza but the rigatoni could be skipped over.

The Bar has a unique character, everything was very nice…nPizza lifeisgucci… ´beautiful combination of ingredients’ and the drinks were really good as well.nWould definitely recommend.nnP.S: very friendly and welcoming team, cheers

Been wanting to eat here for a long time and I had an amazing experience. I came by myself and ordered 2 gimlets which the bartender made absolutely perfect… honestly best gimlet I can get in Toronto hands down, the lady with the tattoos and septum piercing made it. I had the Shakespeare pizza and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly and talkative and constantly making sure I was okay. I genuinely loved being here and everything about this place.
