Bar Raval

Cool little bar on College Street. I’d say Spanish pintxos and tapas inspired, but it doesn’t feel like you are at a Spanish bar not like the old Tapas Bar on College near Parliament in the 90s. But still - quite good in terms of food and drinks. If you go at 5, it’s almost empty. If you go at 6 or later it gets busy but feels alive. Weekend nights it’s probably packed

Great spo. totally understandable why Bar Raval is on top of so many lists. We ordered a bunch of dishes and honestly there were no disappointments, but a few standouts: the croquetas, patatas bravas, garlic shrimp, crispy cod with pil pil, and the Basque cheesecake were all incredible.nnThe interior is amazing to, beautiful design. Seating is limited with more standing room, which gives it that authentic Spain-style tapas bar feel. Definitely a place to come hungry and share.

The food was outstanding! We came here for my pre-birthday celebration with my partner and were completely blown away by the food, ambiance, and service. Mikaela, our host, was incredibly warm and attentive, recommending several tapas that were as beautiful as they were delicious. Our favorites were the hamburguesa, jamón cebo, stracciatella, and boquerones.nnTo make the night even more special, they surprised us with an extra tapa and one of the best cheesecakes we’ve ever had on the house to celebrate my birthday. From start to finish, it was an exceptional experience and truly deserving of its Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition. We will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful space and food! We came here after a show for a late night bite and a few drinks and loved it.nnThere is very limited seating read: you're standing. This was our first time here and admittedly, with our quick research of this place, we didn't know that. There are a few stools around the bar that we saw and we managed to snag one after politely asking an individual who we noticed wasn't using it. So if your legs are tired from standing at a show for a few hours and walking around all day, maybe keep that in mind.nnPlates were small and the fried/savoury dishes we ordered hit the spot for us. Drinks were tasty, service was stellar.nnWill definitely return when we're back in the city.

We made a reservation on a weekday and when we arrived, our table was ready. The bar has both counter tables inside and heated patio. We were seated inside and enjoying the beautiful wood carved decorations.nnThe drinks menu offers great variety of cocktails, wine, beer and liquor. The food menu includes great tapas options for sharing.nnThe staff are friendly and the service is fast.
