Boxcar Social

I spent several hours at this cafe last Sunday and absolutely loved it. The second floor was particularly quiet, with everyone reading or working on something, creating the perfect ambiance and vibe for focusing. The coffee and beverages were great, the food was okay, and the space was very nice and cozy. It's a great spot to get some work done with a cup of coffee!

Ordered a vanilla latte and a croissant. The latte was delicious! The croissant was tasty but cold- it would’ve been nice if it was slightly warmed.nnIt got incredibly busy while I was in there, and the front area by the till had about 10 people standing, which made it difficult to move or get your drink.nnThe atmosphere is nice but I agree with some other reviews that it could be a bit cleaner.nnOver all a good experience. :

Great mid-town study/work spot. Aesthetic interior. Two stories of seating space in different rooms but does get pretty busy+ outdoor patio seating spots. Comfortable seats. Slightly pricey drinks.

The hype if there is any is just not worth it. The music was too loud if you intend to study or do some work there would not be good. The music choices played also sucks as well.. I just find this place dirty. The floor and the sofa chairs needs some cleaning and maintenance. I understand drips and spills can happen but come on..Clean up guys your floors needs some care. we paid $30 plus for some coffee and egg sandwhich which I think Tim Hortons really tastes way better. Not enough socket and they have a charging station which you hve to pay for. Another business strategy i guess. No good ventilation it was so hot for a 22 degree weather.

Really enjoyed this place!nHad there an in-person meeting with a few people and it was very cozy for us to do our thing, while having some coffee and pastries nnWhat I liked the most, is that there are a bunch of space, 2 floors and a very cute back-patio. Unfortunately, I’m located quite far from the place but will definitely go back at some point!
